Woodturning - Ring Holder - MAKE FAILED!!

Sometimes a failure can turn into a success even if the outcome is not what you originally intended.

A little background:
I was super excited to get a new camera for the shop so I decided now was the time to make the yarn bowl that has been on my make list for some time. I did not fully understand how to use the camera and had some struggles with it, and then the fun really started. I had a saw blade failure and got a bit too aggressive with my Dremel trying to adjust.

Bowl = Gone.

So after many bad words, the yarn bowl became a ring holder for my nightstand. I decided to embrace the failure and incorporate some leather from another failed project.

Overall I think it came out pretty well but it was more important to me to finish the make and not just walk away with the failure.
