PetSolutions: Fish Mate Automatic Pond Feeder

This item is worthless. I own one, well one that doesn't work. It is meant to be outdoors to feed your fish, but the electric part of the feeder is not weather nor water proof. So why make a feeder to feed your koi pond when it can't take a rainstorm? The food container is and that's what the advertisement is talking about, not the bottom part of it that contains the electrical parts. Mine lasted about 3-4 months but with a plastic trash bag on it. One time left the bag off and KAPUT! If you are thinking of buying this product, be fore warned. Read other reviews online... You will see some review saying it's great, well that's because they haven't had a few rainstorms yet. Also, read the reviews about programming the p-7000... I will agree VERY DIFFICULT TO PROGRAM! I would put your money into a jebo fish feeder. It's a little more expensive, but water proof.

I agree with David. Used mine for 12 weeks over a 3 year period & has now stopped working. (every now & again the feeder won't stop dispensing food & empties the hopper) I've been in touch with the manufacturer who don't want to know as it's 3 months out of warranty. They can't/won't offer any advice how to solve the problem.
