I was 20 years old in 2001. For the entirety of the summer of 2001 if I was driving somewhere I had Basement Jaxx's Rooty or Daft Punk's Discovery bumping on the speakers in my piece of junk car. Happier times. I made garbage wages and was a broke af college kid but dang I was happy. Had no idea I was living the best years of my life from 2000 to 2004.

Never liked Basement Jaxx, I just browse these videos sometimes when I want to remember pop music was actually fun, catchy. You used to be able to flick on the radio and be generally able to vibe and enjoy with whatever was going on at the time. Pop music has been dead for at least 10 years, the food equivalent of going to a supermarket and just eating ready meals
