MJ - Flies Solo?

For this week’s episode join me, (MJ) as I visit my now favorite all inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico. This was my first time filming on my own… eeek! My mom and I were in Cancun for her birthday, this was my gift to her. Anthony sat this long weekend out to get some work done and spend time at home.

Now, if you’ve followed us for a while, all inclusive resorts is not something we gravitate to. Personally, I’m too hyper to concentrate all my activities while visiting a different country all in one location. With that being said though - this particular Hilton property blew my mind! I loved it so much I would definitely come back.

How was Hilton Cancun, All Inclusive selected? Well, it was a process. LOL. I created a spreadsheet with five different destinations I compared: flight cost (per person), hotel cost (per night), airline, and departure/arrival times. Once I narrowed it down to the top three I researched the hotel property and the winner was obvious. The pictures looked amazing, and reviews were excellent. This resort is fairly new in Cancun.

Airline for this trip: Spirit - direct flight under two hours from Orlando, yes, please! Now let’s talk about the resort: lots daily planned activities, gorgeous amenities, most attentive staff - doesn’t that sound heavenly? There are five restaurants to choose from for your meals, a dessert place and food stands all around the pools. Dance lessons, bingo, and nice walks on the beach are just some of the fun activities you can enjoy. Pair that all with gorgeous weather and the perfect long weekend getaway was formed.

If you are looking for a peaceful, modern, more intimate resort with plenty of activities, then this is the place for you. This is not a resort for those looking to party from the moment you get up until you fall asleep. I mean I suppose anything is possible if you put your mind to it… just know there are no clubs onsite.
