How convenient is having Indian kitchen at the entrance..This plan esp kitchen placement holds good for western kitchen where baking has major role, also, utility for kitchen and laundry/ washing m/c provision definitely comes inconvenient if you try to fit in the above plan.

Hi. I liked your simple yet beautiful design. I want to build my ancestral home in south Gujrat. For vacation stay and family function. It should be well lighted naturally ventilated and easy to maintain on my visits. My requirements are as under. I have No shortage of space. East facing. Ground plus one.
1. Big living room. 275 square feet
2. Car park covered
3. Kitchen . 90 square feet,
4. plus dining room ( to be shared in between living and kitchen for convenience.
5. Wc and bathroom washbasin for guest. Appropriate size.
6. Master bedroom 200 square feet.
7. Staircase to first floor master bedroom
8. On first floor 225 square feet master bedroom
9. Open terrace approx 300 plus square foot attached to the master bedroom on first floor. Possibly on car park covering. Provision for water storage tank.
Septic tank etc..
Total construction to be 1000 to 1200 square feet maximum or less as per your drawing. Low budget weekend home. Also advise cost of construction with complete breakdown.
