ОтветитьMy composer 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ОтветитьGreat documentary, thank you
Ответить"The day of anger" is false! "Dies irae" is the "day of wrath", of God's judgment, the "day of the Lord"!
You can't avoid biblical truth, and Rachmaninoff didn't! Rhetorical tricks are useless. For that day will come, the day of the wrath of the Lamb, like everything else that must and will come before it. For it is God's word and his ultimate righteousness. Wrath, not "anger".
And Mr. Jurowski, being a child his time, obviously isn't "obsessed" with truth. But ignorance does not overturn the truth.
სერგეი!.. დიდი სიყვარულით საქართველოდან ...
ОтветитьUh... Ruth Slencynscka is still perfoming and knew and studied with Rachmaninoff himself.
ОтветитьWow, matsuev makes this music sound hideous.
ОтветитьGreat documentary but does the host realize how RIDICULOUS that toupee looks???
ОтветитьDon't destroy him by making a documentary about him, he has to be felt, that is worth more than 1000 documentaries.
ОтветитьWhy do composers bother to learn music theory when journalists will come along and insist said composer must have been under duress to have written something so sad? Composers manipulate notes at their pleasure. Journalists will always be overly mellow dramatic.
ОтветитьCould anyone provide a complete
list of the music excerpts?
I really like this video.
ОтветитьThe film makers really knew what they were doing when deciding to end this documentary with that final descent from the choral basses to the earth-shaking low note of B flat
ОтветитьReally wonderful!! Thank you!! I've always loved the 2nd Piano Concerto!! 🥰🎶
ОтветитьGood
ОтветитьWhat you like to do ? - like to be sad , I said -
ОтветитьThree words for Rachmaninoff GREAT LEGEND ICON
ОтветитьAmazing Documentary
ОтветитьThank you for the upload. A very instructive and heartwarming documentary.
Ответить"شخص انعزاليّ ،ذو تفكير عميق"
ОтветитьI find it interesting that people generally deplore Tolstoy's turn towards religion and politics. I suspect it is because it makes them feel uncomfortable, especially well-fed BBC presenters. Without Tolstoy there would probably be no Gandhi or Martin Luther King: he gave us a thoroughly well thought out and articulated theory of non-violent resistance. He wanted and argued for social justice throughout Russia during the repressive Tsarist regimes.
ОтветитьThank you for this great documentary about such a great composer. I truly enjoyed that. (netherlands) 🌷🌷🌷
ОтветитьGorgeously done
Ответить"Romantic machine guns, nuking the audience" That's perfect. I didn't know much about this composer but the tears have been coming down listening to these beautiful and heart wrenching melodies.
ОтветитьI love Rachmaniniv, cant stop crying everytime I Iisten to his music.
ОтветитьВампиров не хватает к видеоряду
ОтветитьHands down, my favorite composer! Time stops when I listen to him and his music makes me glad I’m alive. ❤❤❤❤
he sure loves to drag his cloth glove firmly across hundred year old priceless scores.
ОтветитьI first saw James Rhodes in another BBC documentary about Chopin. So glad to see him now in this Rachmaninoff documentary.
ОтветитьThank you
