Singaraju Cancer Foundation honoured Cancer Surviving Women's

Hyderabad, July 2022: Singaraju Cancer Foundation commemorates Female Cancer Survivors for their unwavering determination and willpower. The program, which is being organized to felicitate cancer survivors and also provide an opportunity for survivors to connect with one another, is probably one of the meetings held for cancer patients to share their experiences. The Women Champions is a program hosted by the Singaraju Cancer Foundation honoured and felicitated cancer-surviving women 3 female cancer survivors for displaying unwavering determination and sheer willpower to fight cancer at Taj Deccan, Road no 1, Banjara Hills.

The program was graced by, Jayaprakash Narayan, IAS (Retd) Jhansi Reddy, NRI & Social entrepreneur, in the presence of Dr. Mallik Singaraju, Oncologist and founder of Singaraju Cancer Foundation felicitated Rajeshwari Subramanian, Shipra Krishna & Archana Ardhapurkar. Dr Mallik Singaraju, said that, India has the sixth-highest breast cancer rates in Asia and the tenth highest in the world. Every year in India, 122,844 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer and 67,477 die from the disease. Whenever I successfully treated a woman with cancer, I feel I have done justice to my medical profession. Winning over cancer is still the most challenging task in health care. At least the urban have access to quality healthcare facilities and can afford treatment, but the rural population is miles away from proper healthcare facilities, awareness and affordability” he said.
