So should we be buying lenses before the tariffs war take effect?

i’ve actually completed my kit a couple weeks ago, but bravo for making this video and bravo for putting the date and year.

I discovered your channel very recently, but like others here, I find it more enjoyable to watch and learn than some others. One thing puzzles me though: I find it difficult to reconcile the stellar reviews (not just yours - others too) of these sub-$100 lenses with the equivalent counterparts costing 3X-10X more. Granted, some world-class photographs have been taken with cheap cameras (and the reverse). But I just plunked down a couple of grand for a new XT-50 with a XF 23mm f/1.4 LM WR, and you're kinda makin' me feel like I was taken to the cleaners. 😂 I could buy 9 (count 'em, nine) of the lenses in your lineup for the price of my 1. Seems to me there's not as much cachet in a lens, as there is in a Leica or a Hasselblad. So if these lenses really are that good, what are we really paying for if we spring for a Fujinon, a Zeiss, a Voigtlander? Thanks again for the great content.

That TTArtisan 75mm 2.0 FF lens is really special, feels like a premium lens.

I had the Viltrox 27mm F1.2 on my FX30. It accidently dropped my fx30 and my lens broke. It's only 4 small screws holding it together. I'm 5'9 and it dropped from my knee down. It's built like a tank right but 4 screws by the base. I called vitrox and they wouldn't help me. The crazy thing is, it dropped on a shag rug with no dents whatsoever to the lens or camera. PLEASE BE ADVISED IT IS NOT SCREWED IN LIKE A TANK!!!!! I rather use Tamron on Viltrox plastic lens instead or go Sigma APS-C.

Bought the Viltrox 35mm 1.7 four days ago from Amazon... wouldn't want to go through the work of returning it just for $20 but does anyone know if they do price adjusting since this sale happened 3 days after I purchased?

Do you have any recommendations for v30 sd cards? I just got a Sony a6500 as my first camera and as far as I’m aware the max write speed is 35mb/s

I need a 12mm f1.0 AF for full frame, very little Compact size and lightweight and metal build in affordable cheap price range 🙂

Pretty sure I’ve asked this before. Viltrox 27 1.2 over Fuji 33 1.4 if I don’t mind the size, or Fuji if I don’t mind the xtra $300?

Mark, thanks for the video! What lens would you recommend for landscape photography with an OM-5 camera? Also I am looking for some tutorials how to use the OM-5 camera as this is my first mirrorless and MFT camera. The only tutorials I can find explains the advantages of using a MFT camera. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

any top recommendations for like 2-3 of your favorite lenses on this list here? I want the Olympus 12-45mm f/4 but I can't afford it right now, and the vintage lenses I have are fun, but I want something with a native lens mount for my om-5 micro four thirds.
