Space Age Pop came from the space age period in America. Americans were all in on the space race, this resulted in the advances of science and technology. This period directly influenced the music, artists of this period combined the new fascination of space along with themes of futurism which used electronic instruments and uncommon sound effects to create music that sounded like it came out of a science fiction film.
