Beautiful!
ОтветитьBesides the anvil and hammer what tools would you recommend for the beginner?
ОтветитьIt was a Bottle Opener from the Beginning but nice Handle just that hole is to much
ОтветитьNice work
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьDon’t have to upset it made may without it,
But you are better than me perhaps I’ll try that,
Thank you sir
honestly from what little experience i had with master blacksmiths you didnt knock your hammer against the anvil to better your grip/flip the hammer nearly enough xD
ОтветитьJames, the Master Smith, brought all ye lasses and lads a welcomed lesson in not only how to forge a useful tool for opening a bottle of Guinness, but a conversation started too. Slán 🥰🔥⚒️
ОтветитьVery cool. I use my lighter. But this is cool too
Ответитьthat's cool
ОтветитьWonderful tutorial. I’m going to go try it for myself! Wish me luck!
ОтветитьGot it next project a Japanese sword.
Ответитьmy bottle opener that i have forges is mutch easyer to make then that one 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьOk, let me just go and set up my forge...
ОтветитьIt's a bit thick for a bottle opener, but it works so no bother
Ответить"So now all you have to do is get out and do it"
No, first I have to get all the tools and a furnace...
why make a bottle opener out of a bottle opener with some more bottle openers on a bottle opener with like 500 bottle openers in the background???? Am i too German for this
ОтветитьAs i german i can tell you that this thing was already a bottle opened before you started working on it
ОтветитьThere's the difference between a blacksmith and a machinist. You can put a 1 inch hole in a 1/2 inch bar....
Beginner project, requiring: tongs, punch, chistle and/or slot drift, striking surface, heating mechanism, and hammer. Not very specialized at all!
Smacking in a slight divot at the far end helped me to get a good bottle cap grab every time, but it's not entirely necessary.
I never knew that twisting like that included small cuts in the metal, makes sense though
ОтветитьGood job bestie keep up the good work❤❤
ОтветитьThat great, probably not THE strongest but still a vary necessarily strong opener!
ОтветитьI’ve already made a bottle opener but thanks for showing people how❤
ОтветитьI mean I would really love to do this but I'm german, bottles open if I just stare at them
ОтветитьThat’s a nice project, but I’m german. In germany, anything can and will be used as a bottle opener.
Ответитьah yeah what a mad tutorial.
Let me do one too.
import random
import json
import sys
import tkinter
import modules.blacksmithing
SCREEN_WIDTH = 600
SCREEN_HEIGHT = 400
now just add 12,000 lines of code and you have a blacksmithing computer very easy stuff.
Now that you have all the code you need just wrap it up with main_menu().
Go ahead and program the whole thing it's very easy go do it...........
Havent got my anvil yet, that item seems to be important for this project
ОтветитьHere in NZ virtually all crown corks are now “twist-offs”. Haven’t used a bottle opener in years.
ОтветитьI can’t wait to try this!👍👍👍
ОтветитьGreat work lassy
ОтветитьI wish I could afford an anvil
ОтветитьAh yes, the good ol'church key.
ОтветитьSquaring the top also might be a good idea, looks great
ОтветитьThe word 'beginner' totally convinced me i could do this, and now i desperately want to try!
ОтветитьMy teeth are still working
ОтветитьI'm in the process of building my own forge
ОтветитьA bottle opener was one of my first welding projects. Not the most handsome thing in the world, but it's 100% my handiwork.
ОтветитьWas a bottle opener in the beginning. Not sure why he changed it.
ОтветитьI am going to make that I have all the tools
ОтветитьWell that's a bottle opener built to last if ever saw one.
Ответитьit dosent work lol.....
ОтветитьI know my idiot self would try grabbing the hot steel with my hands. Probably only once though.
ОтветитьSweeeeeeeet
ОтветитьThere’s more emotional value when you make something yourself, it’s the best feeling.
ОтветитьOld word alert! I had to go spend 10 minutes reading about the origins of the word "upset" because that's what I do with my spare time, apparently.
ОтветитьYeah, your mom likes that technique too.
ОтветитьPro tip = you can buy a bic lighter and achieve the opening of bottle for 2 or 3 dollars at the convenience store and save yourself alot of time, money and headache from having to forge one of these albeit it's not a conversation piece...
Ответитьor just get a flat piece of metal and hit the cap with it.
ОтветитьThat turned our amazing. Keep doing what your doing
ОтветитьThabk you! This is a great help!
