It seems to me he was the original incel. He was self-loathing despite having a bright future. He hated that he wouldn't ever touch a woman repressed his trans thoughts and turned them into violent expression. Just like so many people instead of owning his rights and his wrongs he pointed fingers and made excuses. He may have been smart in terms of academics, but emotionally he was a child who put on a homicidal mask to hide his fear and loneliness.

I have a friend, more of a mentor, really. He had me read Uncle Ted's work and offered up his take on everything and I'm inclined to agree with him.


The progression of technology will snuff out the aspect of the individual, if you let it. Take 3D printing, for example. People are printing weapons and giving them to foreign individuals to fight their oppressors. Ted was right, though. It requires action. You have to be vigilant and constantly exert yourself if you don't want to be slowly swallowed.

Of course he was a loner. He had an IQ of 167 which means he'd have very little to talk about or relate to with others.

Have only watched a few of the many Ted videos, but this is the best, well-balanced, and does not spin it out for an hour or more. Ted wasn't crazy, but to gain attention for his views he did kill three people, and injured a dozen or more. He also paid the wages for an F.B.I. team for 20 years. He was also correct about many things.
Didn't know his property was auctioned off in 2006. The F.B.I. now owns his shack, I would have been happy with that packet of Tide soap powder or perhaps a couple of books. RIP Ted, you would have hated A.I.

I used to listen too your biography and its good insight, but from a western context created cherry picking someone. I distance myself from it that created its context to suit the agenda, knowledgeable yes, but times become beratement of people and i think this is the western limitation of its comprehension understanding. It believes in justice and order yet lack conditions obvious of people only based on the facts, and a filter too. So ive seen and heard that in the words of created context and themes.

As much as I condemn the actions he took, I can kinda see his argument. Technology is getting too far out of control. AI and stuff is scary and ruins natural things.

Emotional intelligence should always be a priority because it not only teaches them kindness for others, but also for themselves, which avoids extreme actions like his.

With all due respect, Simon, the documentary just jumps from Ted Kaczyinski's brother alerting the FBI, the FBI's determination from the lettets that Kaczyinski is the same man who wrote the manifestation, and then to his arrest. How did the FBI find him in the woods? Did his letters to his brother have a return address or something?

He did not have a brilliant mind. He was a demented killer.
