Any tips to hit the 17th fret on the second part of the intro on an acoustic that doesn’t have the body rounded out? Body and neck meet at the start of the 14th fret and I can’t reach the 17th with my ring finger

I am 85 and learning guitar. A pianist for many years and organ but this has really surprised me having to learn chords parrot fashion as piano chords are much more easy and methodical… still enjoying tho!
