You're so articulate, knowledgeable, and witty! Such an inspiration 😘
ОтветитьSuch an important speech, I learned so much from you! Glad I was in the audience, you smashed it!
ОтветитьI first encountered Luke on LinkedIn early into the Covid-19 Pandemic. Seeing him come from being a humble content creator to standing tall and proud on a TEDx stage is absolutely inspiring.
ОтветитьWhat an inspiring talk, thank you so much!
ОтветитьOnline party (I wish I had clear memories of that 🍷)...
LinkedIn content...
Singing at the Royal Opera House, Tottenham Stadium, and then proposing on TV...
Successful business...
Great TedX talk...
you have come so far, Luke, I learn heaps from you
Wow, what a great talk Luke. I've been looking forward to watching this and it did not disappoint. Thank you for raising the education level on this highly misunderstood condition. Fascinating and really helpful to increase empathy, patience and understanding. Well done for putting yourself through getting up on that stage to deliver that message.
ОтветитьHello!👋
I'm from Pakistan, and I'm in my mid 20s and I have Tourette's Syndrome since childhood, and I think that it's genetic
I also have OCD since almost a decade
Great job, Luke! You rock!
ОтветитьThis is so important! Kudos to you Luke.
ОтветитьMy father has your condition it was terrible watching a 6,4” biker scream I’m sorry for him and he’s a hermit now he’s got the cussing kind with the ticks and had beat a permit divot into his sternum listening to him sleep sounded like a tornado, his symptoms started in when he was around 12
ОтветитьI appreciate you doing this speech. I'm 44 and still have TS. It's comforting to listen to during my struggle. Actuality, I think its getting worse as I get older. I dont whistle or studder but I want to swear all the time. I want to call people a f-ing B and flip people off constantly. Its horrible. On top of that, I've dealt with constant neck issues from ticking along with other silly tics.
ОтветитьI constantly hold my breathe as a tic. Its so exhausting. Messed up
ОтветитьI too suffer from tourettes, live has been rough from me. I salute you.
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing! This was stunningly awesome! Beth
Man did my tics get triggered from watching this. But it was absolutely worth it great talk!!
ОтветитьGlad I found this. Thanks for sharing your personal experience and wealth of knowledge, Luke.
Ответить👍
ОтветитьThis needs more views. I'm a teen who was diagnosed a year ago, and my tics are pretty mild. However, it feels so good to hear the side of Tourette's that is never talked about. Thank you for your strength and talk!
ОтветитьGood man
ОтветитьThe treatment of tourettes is a combined tragedy of the medical system and commercial use of chemicals in everything. All of the mainstream doctors and neurologists throw their hands in the air and say the only thing that can be done is medication. What they fail to understand is that if you reduce inflammatory/immune response, you can mitigate or completely eliminate tics. Individuals with tourettes simply dont have the "margin" to deal with any inflammatory/immune response that everyone else does. The reason it hasn't gained popularity is because inflammatory/immune response can be triggered by a variety of nefarious things that can be hard to pin down, both food-based and environmental exposure, and nobody seems to have the breadth of knowledge to study and prove it. Case in point, we didn't let the doctors talk us into medicating our 9 yr old daughter and instead put our heads together with a naturopath and narrowed down issues. The culprit for our daughter? Dairy, MSG, and VOC's. She literally went from 40 tics per minute (vocal and motor) to NOTHING gradually over a year of fixing her diet and exposure. The only time she tics a little now is right before she gets sick with something. May not work for all, but it's stunning to see zero acknowledgement of this. When I see people suffering with tics, yet live in a home with febreeze everything, scented everything, eating mcdonalds because nobody has bothered letting them know of the possibilities, it really makes me mad.
Ответитьsounds very exhausting
ОтветитьNeopulse in 2026!
Ответитьi want this guy for the ministry of Foreign affairs.. 💙😂
ОтветитьI love your bird whistle. Even your swear words sound kind. Love you! I suffer from compulsive self-soothing physical movements and constantly talking to myself and inanimate objects. Not sure what that is.
ОтветитьMy tics are extremely similar to the yours. I'm 23 and my tics have gotten progressively worse over the last few years, I dropped out of college due to depression, ADHD, and worsening tics. Thank you for the inspiration and comfort.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThe thing i hated the most about my tics how it leaves a very bad impression on people
