You hear about others losing their children to cancer never thinking that could happen to you it can that’s why it’s important you tell your love ones you love them nonstop because you never know what can happen the next minute in your life. If something happens your love one knows they were loved.

it JUST hit me that Keenan's character in Don't Be a Menace is his character from Hollywood Shuffle at the end of the movie. I just thought he was the postman, and he delivered "messages" pointing out the message in key scenes. I just remembered that in Hollywood Shuffle, the main theme was to not sell out your dignity for money, and there's always work at the POST OFFICE. I've seen the movie a million times and never made the connection to Hollywood Shuffle. Genius, man.

You never know when the changes in your life are coming and that is why you have to be prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually. Life circumstances come at unexpected times and always not at a good time, or you might be on a high time, and then here comes the downfall and the storm. How do you deal and respond with these unexpected changes and circumstances when they come is very vital to your mentality and your life. Jesus posed a parable in Matthew 13 about what is your house built on? Is it built on sand and he probably should have said quick sand, or is it built on a solid rock to stand? You cannot stand on sand, but you can truly stand on a rock. What is the foundation of your life built on? Jesus Christ and nothing less than his righteousness or worldly principles that are only temporary reliefs? Jesus's word can sustain you, but earthly things pass away, that is why after 5 or maybe 10 years of someone leaving, you are still crying about it and never ever able to rejoice or celebrate the life they lived while they lived here on this earth. There are countless other examples, but that is a very major event in anyone's life.

How you handle your situations in life depends on how much peace you will have in your life. Let us endure this life with peace and in peace, by standing on the right foundation.
