The pinky is back far for better grip for man size hand. You don't need a screwdriver to break down pistol a dime or spent bullet works. The slide is shallow to keep the pistol shallow. Poor review.......
Ответитьbought one, shoots good, a little low at 15 yards, the release for the slide is hard, have to pull back on the slide as you push down the release. The trigger is "scratchy", but oiled components and it helped. I was told that it should get better the more I shoot it. I love how I can have it in my jeans pocket, and the feel of the gun and weight. I love the curves where the gun wont catch on edges. Great for pocket gun conceal carry.
Ответитьreview the sar cm9 gen 2
ОтветитьNext time I need a pistol in sea spray to compliment my scarf, I'll check this out. So, never.
ОтветитьPurchased a Spectrum and is was a POS. Tried Blazer and another brand and got light primer strikes half the time.
Bummer
FN 509 tactical 9mm Go!
ОтветитьI found it difficult assembling this pistol.
ОтветитьYou can use a spent cartridge shell instead of a straight slot screwdriver.
ОтветитьI just picked one up, brand new, for $137. As a backup, it's not bad and at that price point, that's a steal! Speaking of steel, don't use steel ammo. Seems to misfire a lot. It does offer double strike capability, but you're better off not needing to use that. Brass ammo works very reliably though.
ОтветитьThe Spectrum is under 200.00 now and I'd consider that to be over priced, based on the quality.
ОтветитьJust received my Taurus spectrum 380 and y’all are on point with it’s not that accurate because no matter what I shoot the bullets always go down and everywhere.
ОтветитьIt's worth mentioning the second strike trigger and the incredibly low bore axis, which greatly reduces muzzle flip when compared to similar pistols. Both features are worthy of 90 seconds.
ОтветитьI just got one of these today. Brand new for $200 black and gray color. I found the slide super easy to operate the trigger is crunchy at the end and the sights are lacking. But this is a close and dirty deep concealment gun. I think especially for the price it is a good gun.
ОтветитьI just use a round from rear of case, works fine .gunshoots good, shooting 20yards rapidly getting 5-7 inch groups . I don’t think to bad with dim eyes and shakeup hands. being A reloadeder over 41 years I have a wealth of information .i specialize inteduiced loads for center fire ammo . a excanple. , 308 110 gr round nose half jacket or hp under 1000 FPS , no sonic crack, don’t think kiddy round, I killed 10 deer with it , be glad to share tried, proved information, not arm chair information.
ОтветитьDo they still make the TCP or was this the replacement?
ОтветитьWhy do reviewers always complain about the sights on guns that were obviously designed to be point-and-shoot belly guns? And who wants snag-able sight on a pocket gun?
ОтветитьI love this gun for cc/pocket gun, but I only load 6 rounds into the 7 round mag; such an afterthought. My favorite site had both mags so I bought an extra of each.
ОтветитьWhat do you mean you don’t recommend pocket carrying?
ОтветитьIs it really that much bigger than the tcp? I compared them and remember coming away thinking they were basically the same. Also the pinky grip is set back because that's how your hand is shaped.
ОтветитьFiring pin block, and zero load striker. Safe as they come. Magazine falling out is annoying...
ОтветитьMine has not worked right since the first day I got it NEW. . And it was at the factory for two months and still has problems...FTF...FTE.
ОтветитьGot one for $250 white and light blue
Love it look like a toy I even paint the tip orange make it look like a toy since I don't got any children in the house I like the look
The idea of the breakdown design is to use the back of the round not a screwdriver
ОтветитьIs there a safety on it?striker block
Ответитьit does not necessarily disassemble with a screwdriver ... a colleague of yours used a used casing from a bullet to disassemble it
ОтветитьActually use it for self defense! It is not accurate but it did the job. Believe me it is worth having on person. Great video actually. I love the ergonomics. Pinky is happy yo!
ОтветитьGot one for Christmas 🎄 yay
Me
Have you shot it you silly woman look at your hand when you close your fist your pinky finger come back farther than your other fingers that recessed finger crew for the pinky finger is perfect
ОтветитьYeah I know this is an old review but to correct you on the disassembly. You do not need a flat blade screwdriver for disassembly. If you notice the slot is curved. You use the rim of a .380ACP round to field strip.
ОтветитьHad one about a year or so ago and used in my conceal class. Very happy with it until I had to sell, but recently bought another...great gun at a cheap price
ОтветитьThis gun ain’t the only thing that’s 5 inches in my house
ОтветитьThe largest draw is that is a True Double action with no stored tension on the striker. Drop safe and easily fits anywhere.... yes fellas I had it there too. As for take down... penny, dime, nickel.... a case rim.
ОтветитьThe main draw is the color? Lmao what
ОтветитьYou can buy these new for between $180 and $200. Worth...
ОтветитьYa supposed to use ur shell casing rim to dissamble the gunn with. Ya don’t needa screwdriver. ❣️
ОтветитьYou DON"T need a Flat Head Screwdriver to take down the firearm, simply use a shell.
ОтветитьAll I need to know in 90 seconds. What are the other 64 seconds for?
ОтветитьThanks guys. Just got a spectrum on sale at Sportsman's Warehouse at $180 or so, then minus $20 or so! Then tax, but whatever. Love it.
ОтветитьI cannot get the recoil spring reinserted without cutting up my hands. Is there some trick?
ОтветитьThe take-Down lever is meant to be turned with the bottom rim of a cartridge case, not a screwdriver. More clever than you thought, huh?
ОтветитьAll you need to know ? Specs ? Safety features ?
ОтветитьIt's an atrocious weapon to shoot but it does work. All you needed to know in 2 seconds. 😉
ОтветитьI love mine. The extension grip helps me shoot more accurately since my pinkie on my shooting hand was broken and does not bend well.
ОтветитьOn a good day mine weighs 11.6 ounces so I think that the advertised weight of a 10.7 ounces is inaccurate. In other words, it’s about an ounce heavier than advertised.
Ответить198 for mine and I can turn the take down with the butt of a 380 bullet witch if you check it it kinda feels like it was made that way,, iwb carry kydex holster is perfect and 8 rounds is good to go
ОтветитьBought it new. It's total junk! Will never buy another Taurus! They lost me as a customer!!
ОтветитьI got a new in the box trade in from Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore online for $120. Its a slick smooth easy to carry pocket backup. It prefers 95 grain Winchester Federal and Remington ball ammo. Mine isnt fond of hollow points or low priced ammo. I love it. Great pistol. Thanks for the video
Ответитьsure wish it was 9mm. Nice design
ОтветитьFirst time I heard a screwdriver for takedown, a spent round works perfectly
ОтветитьThey are GREAT little guns.
