Steam on Xbox means Playstation titles (Spiderman, TLOU, etc.) would be playable on Xbox hardware. This would completely alter the console market imo. Xbox would have access to all console titles (excluding Nintendo) and an entire PC library on Steam. All this while still having GamePass.
ОтветитьWill we be getting steam for sure? I’m gonna keep my Xbox if so
ОтветитьMy take is that if I want a console that is going to get me the most bang for my buck I'm getting a PlayStation since it will give me the PlayStation exclusives and Xbox games. I no longer have to choose between the two. I do think that being able to play steam games on a console would make it easier for couch co-op games, but not enough to get me to buy a console for.
ОтветитьPC gaming is so overrated
ОтветитьSega did it. Theyre doing well out of it considering. I think theyre doin the right thing to stay relevant. Also the more crossover in big companies the better it will be for the gamers. innit
ОтветитьIf the next xbox is basically a PC & they remove the requirement to pay for online play, I would very likey buy one when my PC starts to fall behind the times. I think if they can come in a the right price it would make the xbox a viable option again. Like if it they come up with a device that can go toe to toe with PCs in the 1100-1500 range but for like 500-600$ that fits into the market nicely & is a great value prop to someone like me who doesnt really have the time or bandwitch to build something myself to offset the cost. Which isnt that much when cards are about as much as a brand new console.
ОтветитьI always love the idea of a console like pc, the issue is how windows behave. Xbox supporting Steam would be awesome.
ОтветитьHopefully if they do add steam to Xbox they also have an official PC game pass for steam deck
ОтветитьSteam on my Xseries would be amazing.
ОтветитьI am super excited for this because that would mean that I can play FPS games with mouse and keyboard on console
ОтветитьThis would not only be revolutionary, but the biggest thing they can do if they want to consider rivaling Playstation outside of the US, hell EVEN the us
ОтветитьI just want to be able to install xbox OS on a PC in a dual boot fashion. I want my xbox library to migrate over with my cheevos
ОтветитьRemoving exclusivity benefits all gamers!
ОтветитьIf you can't beat them circumvent them seems to be Xboxes strategy. A great value PC for its specs, access to PC storefronts and generic mouse/keyboard support sound amazing to me. Microsoft just need to drop pay to play online as well to be onto a sure fire winner next gen in my opinion.
ОтветитьHas bro been living under a rock?
ОтветитьIt’s all about the price tag for me. Not paying these prices.
ОтветитьI remeber 8-10 years ago i answerd on a xbox survey, and all the things i wanted is geting real. I don't care if you're a Play Stationer, Nintendoer, Xboxer or PC Master racer. I just want to play games on my own terms, and what ever on what ever. I have 4 gaming platforms, but i play Xbox and Pico VR the most. And if i can play Steam or Play Station on my Xbox, i'm all for it.
ОтветитьI’ve had an Xbox as my main platform since 2005 and I couldn’t care less if Microsoft sells on other platforms, the whole exclusivity thing is for weirdos. I really hope one day I can access my Steam library on my Xbox, that would be incredible.
Ответить33 is a fantastic game!
ОтветитьIf xbox added steam I would actually buy an xbox
ОтветитьAre we talking a locked down steam version or straight up a windows pc with steam integration. I mean the first thing I think of is how anti cheat and that kind of stuff is going to work.
Ответитьlove the shirt - great to see folks supporting the studio in more ways than simply playing the game.
ОтветитьWith my huge library of steam games, I would jump on a Steam powered Xbox in a heartbeat!
Hell, add in Quest 3 support, too!
Make games cheaper
ОтветитьSeems as if Xbox is aiming to be a launcher in a sense. Still an Xbox, but more resembles a PC rather than a console. Hardware made specifically as a launcher, nothing else. That could possibly destroy the PlayStation low key. PS would have to push the limits on their exclusives to survive and make their consoles still appealing
ОтветитьI got 200 games on Xbox so I'm not changing
ОтветитьHa ha Baldino (not a bot)
ОтветитьI feel like it's a poor move in the gaming industry to make people need your console, the goal should be to make them want your console.
ОтветитьScrew exclusivity. I want to play everything without buying 3 devices. The only negative i can see is competition drives prices down. Buuuut that is obviously not working so let me play everything.
ОтветитьAs someone who likes playing on my tv & currently plays more on my Series X than pc, I would love to be able to access & play my steam games on my Xbox. Most of my owned games are either on Steam or on Xbox.
ОтветитьBring back the Q&As, Jake!
ОтветитьI love GOG ❤❤
And I own my videogames.
I think Xbox’s best shot is to make an actual PC console. Imagine them being able to put a full Windows, standardized hardware PC into the hands of gamers. Kids could use them for school and entertainment, adults could use them for work and gaming. Functionality opens up the potential market for sales. Standardization allows for better optimization. Actual PC capabilities would lead to Office Software sales and open up the Xbox to various PC game marketplaces. If you could play PlayStation PC games on an Xbox, I assume that cuts into PS sales.
ОтветитьThe series X is the first Xbox I've ever owned and I got it to go back and play all the exclusive that I missed in the past... and now gears is coming to Playstation so wtf do I know 🤣
ОтветитьThat could be a huge win. If I was Sony I'd be a tiny bit worried. Steam sales are nuts.
ОтветитьXBOX is better hardware
XBOX is better UI
XBOX is better multiplayer
I play PC for single player games, I play XBOX for multiplayer. All PS games go to Steam, so... XBOX & PC for me.
I’ve always been more of PlayStation guy, but if Steam comes to Xbox, I would definitely buy an Xbox Series X
ОтветитьNow if Sony could follow a good example.... BLOODBORNE ON PC DAMNIT
ОтветитьAre there any new game to play on ps5? Mine is collecting dust now. All ik is death stranding next month
ОтветитьMy steamdeck plays Xbox so I’m already set 👍
ОтветитьI think it's viable. When I looked under recent games played under my Xbox app on pc, games from my steam library were there
ОтветитьXbox is taking over gaming
ОтветитьThey gunna make the STEAM BOX! All they gotta do is combined their efforts, financing and make a lite pc ( a console you can use a mouse & keyboard or controller (but just marketed that way cuz you can already do that..))
ОтветитьYo I said this in the comment section like 2 weeks ago
ОтветитьIf Steam was available on a Series X I would buy one. It's a good cheap option over a high end pc. As it stands there is no reason to own a Series X, it's a Playstation without the best games.
ОтветитьThey are not getting weird, they are getting desperate and they are gunning for that steam bounty.
ОтветитьXbox should make a upgradeable Xbox like a PC.
ОтветитьI just hope sony follow suit and we can play playstation games on xbox. Gone be the days when we get an avengers game on Xbox with spiderman missing.
Ответитьlot of game stuff to talk about this week. thanks for stopping by!
