Great subject we been married for almost 23 years and we still argue over the dumbest things 😂thank you for sharing your experience this is a hard topic but true i left Thailand in 1979 at the age of 11 years old I remember there was so much legal challenges my mom had to deal with i been living in UAS for over 20 something years before I decided to get my USA citizenship lots of my coworkers are from central or South America and some can’t speak English at and our communication are like how you describe lol but I enjoy working with my friends/ coworkers i need to learn Spanish 😂

Everything you said is true. For a place like Thailand sometimes I think just paying a woman to stay with you and take care of the cooking and cleaning is a better idea because then everyone’s happy.

Many of these bar girls have a list of guys lined up on their Line app. Many of these women have ulterior motives due to poverty, and other factors. It is what it is. men must be prepared to reject a lot, and walk away enough times until finding the keepers. Sucker 1 through 10 is lined up. Bar girls are for short term only. Not wife material.

Many people love their pets to death, and one reason is language communication is severely limited. If you just like a loyal and unconditionally loving companion by your side without much complaining, a foreign language companion might work for you. The occasional need for deep conversation can be taken care of elsewhere.

I have struggled to learn Thai and find it immensely frustrating , although I can speak basic Thai enough to order food, buy bus train tickets, and general conversation , my girlfriend and I are using goggle translate to commucate effectively to have any meaniful conversations, it is doomed for failure for the reasons you mentioned .
Becoming fluent in Thai is never going to happen for me, and the reality being is that unless they can speak English, don't start any long-term relationship
