Carried one in ‘04 . . . Wait for it . . . . As an Army medic. I was one of those who loved it, minus the 800 round combat load. I called it Preventive Medicine. Keep it up you big sexy idiot.

I love the m249, it is my go to gun of choice, my fucking issue with it though is the damn safety likes to pop into fire mode when I put it on safe, the slightest tap and it just changes modes, but other than that I fucking love the M249, I don't know maybe my safety switch is loose or something.

Asking for a friend, where perhaps may I acquire such a piece?
