Drugs such as lorazepam, diazepam are part of a class called benzodiazepines. The pharmacist was correct: these drugs are for short term use. The body develops a tolerance fairly quickly. This means that the original dose won’t provide the same effect. This leads to a dangerous cycle if a prescriber increases the dose. Then the cycle repeats. With use over 6 months your body develops a physical dependence. This video is mixing in many different psychiatric problems which are treated differently. Some of the military patients sounds like PTSD. Confusing to address anxiety and a serious problem such as PTSD.

How many here shaking their heads in disgust lined up for the safe and effective clot shot, and then ran to get their b00sters afterwards....how many here are still wearing their compliance masks while driving alone, or out and about in public? I know quite a few...and see others every day.

These meds are so rampant in 1st world countries. Mental disorder is so common in the US, uk, etc. But look at africa, nigeria, asian countries. They almost have nothing and yet they are happy.

People run to the medical docs for the simplest things. Always running to the doctors and will do everything they tell them to do. Some people won't pee without asking the doctor first.

Thank heavens a serious film about how humans have become reliant on drugs for every sad, stressful situation in life. We have lost the right to grieve, be sad and disappointed and stressed. Those emotions that make us individuals and enable us to develop emotionally and physically. How are we supposed to grow and learn to cope in a fog of drugs and alcohol? We are in danger of raising individuals who are weak and fragile that makes them vulnerable to those that would take advantage of us. I wish this film was shown in all healthcare settings globally.

I have a genetic defect of the RYR2 gene, which causes elher danos syndrome and cyclic vomiting syndrome.
The only drug that works to abort a bad CVs episode is Ativan. I take about 10 to 20 x .5mg Ativan every 365 days. Without Ativan I would have 72 hr vomiting episodes, where I retch so hard I can break ribs.

Some of us need these meds and do not abuse them...blaming meds for your addictions is like fat people blaming forks and spoons for making them fat...

America needs God! We are born with a sinful nature; we all sin so God gave his only son to come to this world, die on the cross to pay the wages of our sins. For those who call out and believe on Jesus as their Lord and Savior, unto salvation. Read your bible which provides much wisdom on how to live life, what to expect and how to deal with the trials and tribulations of life.

15 years ago i was in a really, really dark place. I knew full well I could have gotten a prescription for anything. And i was so close to doing so. I was on the fence no doubt. The book "manufacturing depression" convinced me to steer clear of antidepressants. Now, my life is great. I've figured out what works for me and what doesn't. I accept set backs and bad days with serenity.

Main problem is the patients roast medicaments, but are comfortably open to take it instead of taking responsibility for themselfs. My dad was never open to quit his medicament addiction, but plays a victim. He eats plant oils and wheat bread every day, sugar and processed things, but will never change even after 3 heart attacks.

Gut = brain.

Yes pharma likes to make money, any chemical medicament harms, but most straight women i know go regularly for free to any doctor when they feel a little cold.

Once in a cycle, people are addicted to medicaments as stress strategy or naivety that everytime they feel icky, just go to the doctor and let others decide over your health.

A sleep pill can not solve a work problem that violates the natural inner rhythm.

You need to care most for your health. There is a reason, why a lot of things are freely avaiable in natural holistic medicine for smaller illnesses.

Women want to go to work. To care for children or partner and take the easiest way like taking pills instead of letting their immune system building.
My colds heal alone, emotional waves are normal and need not to heal to always positive. There over decades holistic and functional health practioners, books and steps to build an own apotheke...but its modern fear that you need a doctor and people dont use sources to really inform themselfs.

Psyche: eat meat grass fed, heal gut from A1 milk, sugar, gluten and high plant antinutrients, go outside, do earthing, hug people, sit and think about inner needs without illusion, drink water...

Start healing yourself, others cannot know you better than you yourself

ESFJs, ISFJs, ESTJs, ISTJs are mostly succepted to trust doctors easily

And ps to the health claims in plants: goitrogens like in brokkoli damages thyroid function

Prozac and statins are harming, anti baby pill..and medicaments are NEVER studied with women, their cycles and different hormones and brain structure. Medicaments are tested on males

And yes biochemical change in the brain comes from what you eat and give into the gut. Trauma added without taking time to process naturally.
You need B2 (meat) for nerve function system.

In college I went to my GP for “feeling tired and unmotivated”. Looking back, I was burned out working full time and being a college senior. Instead of lifestyle changes my dr immediately put me on Zoloft. I was on it for a year, gained 30+lbs and never felt happy. I quit cold turkey, and it was the absolute sickest I’ve ever been in my life. I started taking them again just to alleviate the detox symptoms, and was on them for another year because I was terrified of stopping. I finally did my own research bc my dr was useless and told me nothing about side effects, and I did a gradual weening myself. Took months but I’m free of them. Haven’t taken a prescription in over 10 years. I’m almost 40 and took my health into my own hands with nutrition and activity, and lowering stressors. I went from miserable and 150lbs down to 125lbs, happy and strong with just a healthy whole food diet, sunshine, and yoga. I’ll never be a Big Pharma cash cow ever again.

As a consumer you are responsible for what you consume and research it regardless of what the doctor says. Doctors should be held accountable for prescribing poorly or telling people to take more then it requires or duration of time.
In regards to the dsm talk...there isnt such thing as "normal" clinically it is considered "average."

Thank you for sharing, and I will continue to do so because, especially the veterans, should get great care without being involved in unwanted experiments, if they can be called that

Stop the cycle of believing everything, of ignorance about drugs, and about forgetting about y(ourself).

Get and stay healthy. Find good and or positive information, and hold on to that, yes, for me, that would be to fellowship with the eternal God and His Word, and to believe He is my all in all, and to know that He covers me. For me, it's best to give Him my attention: He gives me His, unconditionally, and for my good, and His Glory.

Thank You Lord!

I am a married woman and i remembered my son played a prank in junior kindergarten… he crawled under the teacher’s table and tied her shoe laces together and she was so upset and asked who did this and because my son wanted to take recognition for his atrocity he claimed it in the most joyous I must say and proud way. Having said that the teacher called me in for a meeting and said that something is wrong with him and she will recommend that he should be put on ADHD MEDS… if I didn’t stand up for my kid that moment my son would’ve been a statistic right now. He ended up graduating high school with honours he graduated college as a certified electrician and working every day now and a productive human being. Most respectful young man I’ve ever seen!
