all these games look like something i wouldve made in garrys mod when i was 10

The tunnel song in the first game actually kinda sounds like something off kid A or Amnesiac. I was kinda into it tbh.

Missed opportunity to literally change genre at the end of the second game and just turn into a fighting game for a minute.

I think an aspiring game dev should make a good SpongeBob horror game just to stir up our expectations.

Vinny, I think in the last minutes when your brain dumps DMT in absolute heroic doses to help you accept dying, I think it can, dilate time almost to infinite lengths. I think that in that time you can live new lives, we could be there right now, but long story short, yes, you can go to the krusty krab after death.

A lot of people who hate AI seem to hate it unless it makes them laugh. I remember the days of Vinny laughing at bad AI images from way back on those "this person doesn't exist" type of image generation sites.

I really hoped someone would build in a spongebob Z mobile game with mafland in the background just to give vinny some flashbacks

Anyone remember around the clock at bikini bottom? It’s a few years old and it was an actual full length game. I remember it being really good and not really relying on shock for its horror. Feels like a distant memory though.

Sadly no around the clock at bikini bottom- the one game that I think has good effort to it, but the slop is funnier

3 am at the KrustyKrab is the only sponge horror game that's actually decent. Not scary obviously but it's at least somewhat fun.

Most of these game are form Ich io right? So most of them were probably some kids' first attempt at making games. I dont understand why Vinny was being so harsh towards them

Why are people so upset about the AI voices?
Yes they sound bad, but tbh most of those games feel like they are made bad on purpose.
There are ton of meme shitpost horror games.
They were most likely made when some bros were stoned and had this idea of a stupid game and then made it in 30 minutes while still stoned.
They are shitposts. Dont take them seriously.

And then you expect them to not use AI voices?
Like what else should they do? No voice acting? Or should they spend hours for YTP sentence mixing?
They could also the hire voice actors... probably not.

But most of those horror games are supposed to be bad. They are horrible ideas some stoned dudes had.
The crap AI voices just enhance the experience.



Also if you want a good spongebob horror game (also without AI voices) then try Around the Clock in Bikini Bottom (i hope that was the name)

If you want an actual decent SpongeBob horror game, play Around the Clock at Bikini Bottom. It's genuinely the best Spongebob horror game with the amount of content and fan service (and best of all, no shitty AI voice acting)
