Interesting! I would have never thought at that high of a level that anyone would want anything but a tight set...and that there would be any issue with sets being off (except for maybe 1% of the time). Makes me feel better that pros are people too. lol!

I keep coming back to this, its interesting to see. I wonder how kill percentages are affected by distance from net... Looking at some AVP content from last weekend and I would be curious to see a comparable breakdown there. What distance from the net do you and your partner prefer to run your sets?

It seems height makes a big difference. A 10’ could easily spike from full court.
It would seem a downward spike becomes impossible the further you are unless you also have higher contact.
