Is the banjo tab available by any chance?
ОтветитьThis song makes me think of the Hawk's Nest Tunnel project
ОтветитьMasterful work
Ответитьbad lip sync.
ОтветитьHave you done Oogie Boogie?
ОтветитьNot bad. Better than Castellucci's version. But dont exagerate the deep voice or you'll make it sound like a gimmick and a caricature of the original song.
Tennessee Ernie Ford put emotion into his story telling first of all, and the quality of his voice just added to the story.
nah original is better
ОтветитьFantastic cover! Even more awesome stache!
ОтветитьMore singing and less facial expressions, please!
ОтветитьI remember this song from when I was just SMALL and I NEVER knew what it was called! I honestly haven't thought about it for a decade!
ОтветитьWeird, As a Miners daughter, you have no connection...the sweater...Really...Get down an dirty...
Ответить"Sixteen Tons" is a classic American folk song about the hardships of coal mining life. Written by Merle Travis in 1946, it draws inspiration from his family's experiences in the coal mines of Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. The song's iconic lines like "You load sixteen tons, what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt" resonated with working-class struggles. Tennessee Ernie Ford's 1955 cover brought the song mainstream popularity, and it remains a potent symbol of labor and economic exploitation.

Ответить“Study shows that girls talk to people they’re attracted to in a higher pitch”
Girls that talk to me:
I need to see a collab with Geoff
ОтветитьThe world needs to remember why Unions are a good thing for the working class
ОтветитьErnie would be proud
Ответить"I can't go to hell, I'm all out of vacation days."
ОтветитьWhen I was younger, I worked on banana trucks in the port of Gdańsk - within 8 hours you can load 4 trailers with 1,224 cartons of bananas per trailer. Multiply this by 20 kg. cardboard. Which is 97 tons per shift for two people loading on the trailer. And still the worst was rice in 50 kg bags. They had to be stacked on pallets of 2.5 tons each and moved up the cargo bay.
Good voice
Are you Irish, or do you just like cozy sweaters?
ОтветитьHouse of the Rising Sun!
ОтветитьWhen I listen to this I imagine the scene from Vegetales where the dancing leeks are plotting to kill Daniel
ОтветитьThis has a vibe and I seriously hope somebody makes a warrior cats animation of this song
ОтветитьThis is probably a dumb question, but did you write these lyrics?
ОтветитьI think this is the highest low bass version of this song I've heard, but I still like it
ОтветитьSome people say a man is made outta mud
A poor man's made outta muscle and blood
Muscle and blood and skin and bones
A mind that's a-weak and a back that's strong
You load 16 tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
St. Peter, don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store
I was born one mornin' when the sun didn't shine
I picked up my shovel and I walked to the mine
I loaded 16 tons of number nine coal
And the straw boss said, "Well, a-bless my soul"
You load 16 tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
St. Peter, don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store
I was born one mornin', it was drizzlin' rain
Fightin' and trouble are my middle name
I was raised in the canebrake by an ol' mama lion
Can't no high toned woman make me walk the line
You load 16 tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
St. Peter, don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store
If you see me comin', better step aside
A lotta men didn't, a lotta men died
One fist of iron, the other of steel
If the right one don't get you
Then the left one will
You load 16 tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
St. Peter, don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store
This is awesome!

ОтветитьColm would do numbers in WV
ОтветитьLove the vocals, suits the song perfectly well and good to go with this one.
ОтветитьI just started learning this on piano.
ОтветитьBanjo nice
ОтветитьAll rise for the national anthem of the internet
Ответить💖👐💖👍💖👌 !!!
ОтветитьThe last minute has some intense Poor Man's Poison vibes. I love it.
ОтветитьI recently found this song and HOLY whoever did the mastering on this couldn't have possibly done better! All the instruments can be heard perfectly along with the vocals only being "spoken" over with the thundering clang. I really like how the instruments were staged in the audio as well! 10/10 vocals of course but 10/10 mastering as well!
ОтветитьDo we sacrifice the work-stache or nah!
