It certainly does look like a year long sustained pump followed by a massive dump once the coin hit it's all time high. Bitconnect ran a clever scam on this one. What a con job they pulled.

Does bitconnect show that a currency built on trust with no governing regulation prove complete uncertainty for all currencies? Who is to say that another coin isn't going to do the same? I know that their system was set up completely different but who is to say some of these other currencies wont shut down with the blink of an eye? How do we gain trust in a system of unknown? Just asking for educational purposes.

Sold all my BCC when it hit 8$.. All thanks to the 15 hour transfer time of the bcc, then when i got it, it went straight to 8$. way to go bcc, now they say they might even buy back our coins for a nice price. way to go ponzi. i will just forget the whole shit of bitconnect.

to the people who lost money. hodl those bcc or to the non- u.s. residents, use them to buy the bitconnect x ico as they will accept BCC at $150 each which is better than losing completely. Their new platform will also take the BCC so hodl for now. It's advice for going forward, it might not be what you want to hear but if you're already in that position you have limited options anyways.
