20 Small Games for a Shoe Box Collection

Too many comments to find if this has been mentioned already, but two small games deserving a spot in some variation of a shoe box are Scout, and iota. The latter being in a tiny tin box with great fun density.

Yoooooo Star Realms, I got it on mobile, I signed up as a backer or w/e it was awhile ago, super fun messing around with the Beta content and events and sttuff vs. the AI.

Also, red is the only color that can scrap cards from the deck or hand (with few exceptions), yellow's the only one that can force your opponent to discard, blue's the only one that can heal, and green's the only one that can scrap cards from the trade row.

Also, there are a lot of expansions, at least in digital.

Not sure how 7.2/27 = 446

Palm Island would also be a great addition here… and you can easily fit in the shoe box without compromise - The Fun density should be off the charts :D

Star Realms has tons of expansions and it came with tokens in its early form.

Chameleon could be in there but it is a ridiculously large box for what is inside

Saboteur is another good shoebox game

Even though I love cockroach poker, I rather play Spicy nowadays. So you don't actually need to be good at bluffing😅

I'm ambidextrous so I always feel bad when the game makes me switch hands because I'm already switching hands every turn anyways, so I always feel like I have an advantage over everyone else.

"Scout" is a must wherever i go. It is so easy yet fun to play in my opinion.

This box is definitely missing one of the best small games... Less: Like Chess but Less!

Innovation is definitely my recommendation for an amazing 2 player small box card game. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys interesting tableau builders.

Fundensity sounds fun, but is not at all a good representation of fun. Any wallet game that sucks (like 1/2 score) would still have an insanely high fundensity compared to Fugutive (which made it to your shoebox). The only way it would make sense is of the different sized games were mde into tiers, with a staandard score for each tier.

I've never heard of Button Shy, but it looks like a great site for small games. Thanks for the recommendations!

When I saw your Hidden Traitor game, I instantly thought of Saboteur which is another game with a high count of players, and always has been a blast playing it, with a lot of hollering and pointing fingers and more yelling, ah yes, good times.
