Pags! Another great video. Great story, too. Enjoyed every minute of it. Looks like a fantastic mic. Your opinion of it being up there with the original 47's carries a lot of weight. I appreciate the quality of the comparison's also. Really nice.

The Peluso 2247SE is a nice microphone. It is more open than an original U47. Despite what is advertised, the 2247LE is warmer and they do not sound the same. I purchased the 2247SE after using the 2247LE at a vocal session. I was lucky enough to test my 2247SE next to a beautiful Wagner U47. They definitely behaved similarly, but the Peluso was more open and lacked some of the depth. That said, I made some great recordings with the 2247SE when I had it; cello, center choir/orchestra mic, guitar, and trumpet. All my trumpets for my recording of "Granada" were made with the 2247SE. I had the Warm WA47 in my studio for a few months to do some testing, and made a video on my channel about it. I would have a hard time justifying the extra pricing for the Peluso with the exception of the build quality, which is better on the Peluso. The sonic jump from the WA47 doesn't happen until you cross into the higher end replica world of the Pearlman 47, FleA 47, Wunder CM7, Heiserman 47T, or Telefunken Electrostatic U47.
