I always like your videos because you show the whole process and give advice about the do, don't, and mistakes. Easy to follow and learn. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
ОтветитьDid my own backsplash today using this video as a guide, thank you for your clear and entertaining teaching.
ОтветитьWhat's everyone's obsession with white kitchens? I tried it I can't stand it. No contrast or warmth
Ответитьwhat do you think of adhesive mats instead of the adhesive compound?
ОтветитьBrilliant video there thanks for sharing that information very well explained from the UK 🇬🇧 United Kingdom 🇬🇧 😊
ОтветитьDoes the grout need to be sealed? I'm researching doing 1 inch x 1 inch glass tile kitchen backsplash. Thanks
Ответитьhorrible job on the tile sheet seams, they are very apparent in certain spots. This guy moves way too quick, not enough attention to details that matter, especially when grout is gonna be a contrasting color. I also can't believe he would spend time laying half pennies around the electrical outlet where it will never be visible, yet not do it where its right in your face at the joint with that upper cabinet. Now the only way to fix this eye sore is with a silicone joint thats going to be thicker than it needs to be, which is another eye sore. Spending cheap is only great in the short term, and looking cheap is permanent.
ОтветитьI love how he days you only need one tool and as the video progresses more tools needed 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThis guy is the best it feels like he’s instructing me personally
Ответить😂 it won't kill ya but you'll enjoy the ride 😂
Ответить❓❓❓Is the easiest DIY backsplash smaller tile on the mesh backing like this? Does anyone know?
A response would be greatly appreciated 😊🌟
This was a really great lesson. When I first saw the penny tile, I wasn't sure that would look good, but it came out really nice. You are so good at teaching. I think I may be able to do it too!
ОтветитьIf you use the glass tiles, will the nippers still work?
ОтветитьThank you so very much for sharing all of your knowledge! Job is great!
ОтветитьLove these how to. Vedios, After my husband passed.. I had to learn how to do a lot of things... getting better... enjoy to stand back and look at your handy work. What I can't I have to hire.. save me some $$$$$.
Hard to find a good , honest, responsible $ handyman.
What if its glass
ОтветитьSweet! You are the MFM when it comes to making amazing videos, eh?! I love how you explain. I love your mindset. I love that you are showing us all how to satisfy our OCD when it comes to making these videos.
ОтветитьWhat if your counter from right to left drops down about 6 inches? How would you proceed with that which would be the third section of tile you’re putting on?
ОтветитьThis is a great video. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьI love your videos! You are my go to DIYer. Relatable, funny and smart! The trifecta!
ОтветитьThe whole point of me watching your video was to see how you removed it. You totally skipped that part.
Ответитьyou talk too much
ОтветитьAwesome job. BTW if you would have invested $1K in Home Depot in the early 80s you would be a multi millionaire today uggh.
Ответитьthank you this was so helpful and Ilove how much your cared about the quality and the details on the job.
ОтветитьIf you don’t have laser level (super expensive), how would you measure instead?
Huge fan BTW.
a clean tool is a happy tool!!
ОтветитьThat killz spray at the beginning 😂😂

Ответить"Gently. Gently. I'm gonna say that again. Gently"
ОтветитьHire a professional, Kids, Tile Setters do it better
ОтветитьJust watched your video on mounting a Zline range hood. Question:
Do you have a video where you cut the tile to adjust for the size of your new hood selection?
MusselBound Mat.
ОтветитьI'm looking to do a sidesplash & backsplash using tiny hex tiles (similar to your button tiles) on a bathroom vanity "nook". Its a 40 yr old home, lots of layers of paint over the years. Can these be attached via "tile adhesive" to a painted wall? Would I need to scratch up/sand the painted surface first? NO idea on types of paint, but looks basically eggshell-ish, maybe satin-ish.
ОтветитьFor me, it's a cleaner look to have the tile edge line up with the end of the upper cabinet.
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts on using double side adhesive tile tape instead of thin set? I been seeing lot of videos on it
ОтветитьWhat do you think of tile adhesive mat sold in Home depot ?
ОтветитьLet me know if that stain comes through the backsplash
ОтветитьI usually never watch these all the way until the end, but yours was very informational and even explained how to create a border edge, did not know I needed that to start. You explained everything, everything one can encounter, including air bubbles after grouting and to save some grout bag to accommodate such. Thank you for a well made DYI video.
ОтветитьThe Bob Ross of home DIY
Ответитьnew subscriber, great easy video
ОтветитьGreat job but I would went with a different color tile for accent. Too much white.
ОтветитьMakes me laugh... poeple expect a perfect job at a cheap price. DIY and it looks like DIY...
Ответить"Just throw all your garbage on the floor."
This man gets it.
Home Depot sucks. Never anyone to help, it’s disorganized, makes no sense in its layout. They say they are geared more for contractors, so I don’t set foot in there as a DIYer. Lowes has its own issues. Menards is the best, but none in my state.
ОтветитьYou skipped over how you brought the electrical outlet out to be flush with the tile.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial! Thank you for breaking the work down for easy understanding.
ОтветитьThank you👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьThanks for watching! If you found this video helpful, please subscribe. share your renovation stories☝🏼I love reading them and you’re helping encourage and empower other. Cheers
