I really don’t want to like the ML but I’ve seen family members give up on their loved one because the mental illness wasn’t something they could handle - like there’s no cure for Alzheimer’s. They are both so young but he’s going to have to do almost everything for her … I know she’s been through so much and he wasn’t strong enough to protect her but you can’t really blame him too much because his enemies was mom and sister …and it kinda makes sense that the closest person to him would have suffered the most if they knew how much she really meant to him (I really loved the Candy reference when he was talking to his assistant) and let’s all be real here - he’s totally immature but I think the biggest mistake was that the grandpa made him promise to marry her. Marriage is what them so miserable… and complicated everything -if it was just done after he got his revenge and was strong enough to protect the company/family legacy… then the happy ending would make sense - so now I kinda understand WHY the beginning starts with a few years already into their marriage…
