Bow Hunting Africa - 40 Bow Kills In 2 Minutes

I'm just gonna say I'm seeing this video catching a lot of hate from a lot of people who don't really agree with the topic of the video. Hunting in Africa is generally done to fund preservation efforts for endangered or threatened wildlife. It culls animal population to preserve healthy numbers and competition. And most of the time the meat goes towards feeding local people who struggle to provide for themselves. People who have an issue with killing animals fail to understand that humans are omnivores, we're designed to eat animals, and we've been doing so since before we had the ability to speak. Any hunter worth his salt has respect for the impressive and majestic animals he's killing. They're not just killing animals because it's fun to kill them.

Killing an animal you don't need to eat is still killing. Call it what it is: not hunting, killing. This is nothing more then sport killing. I'm a field range archer of more than 60 years.

Ok. This is gonna sound strange but I gotta ask. In an average year how many kills bigger than a hog do you and your 4 friends make? I don't hunt mainly because I was raised in the city. I didn't know anyone that hunted. I knew about hunting and understood the difference between hunting legally and just shooting to kill a target.

When I watch a video like this with multiple beautiful animals being killed one right after the other, it seems to negatively affect me. I'm assuming you all are following established rules and have the appropriate licensing so it should not bother me right? I guess knowing what happens next in the process isn't very appealing but I would like to know what happens to the carcass after the hunt.

Also, how big are the populations of these animals? I'm assuming they're in the thousands?

Well, nice shots but it feels a little bit disgusting because they are coming to drink water just before being killed. In Turkey, we have a proverb: Even snakes don't touch the whos drinking water. I didn't know the real meaning of this proverb until I see this clip :)
