SPC also issued Enhanced Risk with 10% chance for Tornadoes is from Southeastern Coast of North Carolina & Northeast SC, including Myrtle Beach to Coastal Plains of NC and Southern VA.. Helene Update: (US, downgraded quickly as Tropical Storm)
(Yep, from Category 4 Hurricane Helene just yesterday, destroyed Florida Peninsula and Big Bend region downgrades to Tropical Storm.. Currently, Helene is over Kentucky & Tennesse by now until tomorrow dies to the Depression but Flooding is still possible there! HIGH TIDES, Dangerous winds and EXTREMELY DANGEROUS Flash Flooding is remaining likely for Southeast will continue by today until tomorrow or Sunday! DAMAGING WINDS are in the gusts of 80 - 125 MPH, VERY HIGH TIDE with about 10 to 30 ft nor can be higher than 45 ft, damaging winds in the marine areas can be about 10 - 45 kts to 50 knots likely as well too! Rainfall amounts also could be EXCESSIVELY with 12 - 26" in STILL expected, severe weather is also likely in the same areas included too! this will last from today to late weekend. stay safe, be prepared, turn around and don't drown in the flooded roads! SPC still has Enhanced Risk for Myrtle Beach & Sunset Beach areas in Northeast SC & Southeast NC for today with tornado likely as well too!)
