That's a problem in places where people are so poor they buy little packets of things (suchets?) I can't remember where it was but I read that it is a huge pollution problem as well.
ОтветитьWe saw this happening too. Bought a set of small travel bottles and never replaced them. Just fill them up and wash after
ОтветитьPut hidden cameras in the bathroom to film you naked. All Obama cabinet people backed that and UBER ... NOT giving them insurance.
ОтветитьThey are often really expensive at wholesale price, especially for popular branded products.
ОтветитьKinda sad, willingness to pay extra in order to not let someone else have the rest for free ...
ОтветитьI just bring a 2 in 1 with me
ОтветитьPingo dolce 🤣
ОтветитьIt costs more. Lots more. So its stupid. Travel size at noral size
ОтветитьThis guy is everywhere
ОтветитьI have never gotten the point. Dont you need dishwasher tablets or shampoo at home as well? Just bring it home with you. What do you lose?
ОтветитьJust straight greed
ОтветитьOutside of stores with no other option available, the small will always be cheaper than the large to purchase. If you aren't bringing the large bottle home, the value of the purchase to you is the same.
ОтветитьYes, a common scam. But, though buying larger, or in bulk, is almost always cheaper, due to marketing strategies, sometimes, the smaller you buy, the cheaper it is. Mostly to attract consumers who would otherwise not try the product at all.
ОтветитьWe really did f**** buying bigger bottles and wasting them and paying more for smaller bottles and having some left over
ОтветитьJust shop where locals shop - and you'll get discounted items (though some places have special club cards for local residents, so you need to pay extra - keeping prices cheap for locals, and expensive for tourists - annoying)
ОтветитьForget this guy
ОтветитьIt's not just toiletries though and it's not just in rural areas. Look at the price of bottles of coke/pepsi. A 600ml bottle is often as much, if not more than a 2L bottle within the same shop. It's exactly the idea that people don't like the idea of wasting what they just bought by not consuming it all
