ОтветитьTest the Model 3 standard range (base model) as soon as you can please
ОтветитьAs you know, Tesla today (2/28) announced that all Tesla Model 3s are getting a firmware update that improves range. It will make for great before and after tests.
ОтветитьAre you planning on getting a Model 3 of your own? With the Standard model around the corner for Europe, might be worth looking into. :)
ОтветитьSimilar to kona , good stuff
Ответитьyou should test Kona again in the same conditions... this is spring, totally different then the conditions you last tested Kona
ОтветитьThat summer in Canada :p
Leave it outside at -32°C for the night then check if it coldgate at -18°C . Yesterday temperature here.
Would love to see your Model 3 tests in colder temperatures -- here in Boston it's also winter-ish now, but when it was real winter range seemed significantly degraded in some cases ... but not all.
ОтветитьNew update coming gonna be a better longer range and faster acceleration
ОтветитьI suppose there is a small argument for colder air being more dense, so the 'winter' against the 'winter-ish' kms might make more difference at higher speeds, but it's only a suggestion. What does anyone think? Quite happy to be flamed. 😁
ОтветитьMore sidewall.. More goodness. Always. I drove sprint cars, sidewall is your friend.
ОтветитьCool cheaper Teslas! No more stores to sell them great move by Elon. Just online sales! or more serious issues on the way who knows ;)
ОтветитьI wish my fossil car would have a range of 433km. Btw i have a fiat panda lol
ОтветитьPlease note performance version in title.
Ответитьtest it on snow ground (NOT OFF ROADING!!)
ОтветитьCan you test the range while driving in “chill” mode?
ОтветитьThanks for the video👍👍
ОтветитьBjorn, how close are you to test driving a Rivian?

Wait till you test it on 18 inch summer tires, the consumption is ultra low! One of the best features of the car!
ОтветитьNice to have the table now to compare. Perhaps you could sort it by consumption, best to worst? Would make it easier to compare at a glance.
ОтветитьWhat do you expect the longe range (not performance) will do in this weather? Is it a lot more, or close to this range?
ОтветитьIt's interesting that the consumption increases almost parallel to the speed (90km/h -> 120km/h, +33% and 171kWh -> 218kWh, +27%). I would expect a much higher increase in consumption since the air resistance (drag) takes the speed to square. Anyone have an idea why consumption is even lower? I acknowledge the measurement may not be super accurate since only 16/12km were driven but I would have expected a significant increase in percentage.
ОтветитьSaw in a few Norwegian Model 3 Navigate on Autopilot. Can you do a Test video?
ОтветитьSeems there is a close correlation between aerodynamics and increase in consumption with higher speeds as expected. The Ioniq is very similar to the Model 3 in aerodynamics due to both size and cda. Model S and X which have great cda still have larger bodies that increase air- resistance sompared with Model 3 and Ioniq. Wintertest in same conditions between Model 3 standard range and Ioniq would be very interesting, especially at sub zero degrees! How much will the heat pump aid the Ioniq?
ОтветитьThis result is really strange. I average between 190 and 200wh/km with my S75D on the same condition at 120km/h. I was expecting the 3 to be better.
ОтветитьI prefer long videos! Plz!
Ответитьwell done!
ОтветитьI went on a road trip yesterday on my Model 3 LR RWD with 18" wheel Nokian R3 (no studs). I was getting around 187Wh/km at around -9°C.
ОтветитьThanks for the table!
Ответитьstandard range will beat ioniq consumption? :)
ОтветитьI thought the performance model had a white dash trim, not the wood effect one.
Ответить👍😊
ОтветитьDo you have that excel published somewhere?
ОтветитьYou should know by now efficiency rated is for 18inch wheels with Aero covers. 20 inch wheel you lose close to 20% from rated. Try regular AWD or get smaller tires/rims
ОтветитьSo noisy in that Model 3 at 90km/h!!
ОтветитьWhich car will achieve less that 100wh per km at 90km/h first? Could it be the Tesla model 3 standard range?
ОтветитьVery loud.
ОтветитьMy speedometer is off by 1 mph as well. I'm seeing about the same but less consumption with at 70mph this winter on AWD non-performance, aeros covers off.
ОтветитьInterior noise comes standard..
ОтветитьYou should make a blog/website, where people can read and easily compare all your tests. Or would be very nice if you could provide a google spreadsheet that we can look at :D
ОтветитьIn the speed Tesla have delivered M3 the last weeks it might be the nr1 best seller this year.
Already almost a thousand cars! That’s pretty sick. And delivery time is only 2-4weeks.
This is going to be interesting
Kona consumption 127? What? Is there a mistake? Why is it so efficient, much more efficient than any other ev
Ответить5C?! Try again at -30C.
ОтветитьMy performance barely has 250km range in winter conditions...
Ответить5C is not a good test of winter temps, get it to lower than -15C and try it again. Would like to know the consumption then.
