ОтветитьYaar india mein aisa kuch kyun nahi ho raha...
ОтветитьThis proves that China is far ahead in providing continuous employment to the unemployed youth , rather than let them migrate to urban areas , to indulge in criminal activities ......eg. Bangalore , Mumbai, Kolkota , Chennai......😮😮😮😮😮

ОтветитьMany hands make light work........at least a little less difficult. As the sea erodes the coastal belt so the life will have to move inland. Makes sense.

Ответитьwho taught you the animate your eyebrows trick at the end of the video?
ОтветитьThank you for the sacrifice of YIN YUZHEN and her husband during 1970 they're first plants and trees 🎄 of dessert China
Ответитьwhere did the text and video come from?
ОтветитьSo good. China
ОтветитьChinese are still getting it wrong on a national level with farming. Without change to farming their anti desertification projects are going to continue to have diminishing rates of return.
Ответить"Sea of Licorice" sounds funny, but it's a lot better than "Sea of Death"! I like licorice, personally, I'd buy some! There's probably a world market just for that! I didn't realize 'till just now that people were putting the gravel out deliberately to cut back on evaporation. There's another video just about growing watermelons out in the former desert like that, the ground is covered in gravel and it looks so barren! But the plants are healthy, and in the video they cut open one of the melons and start eating it, and talk about how they have good sales and now everyone in the village has a car....
ОтветитьLove you china
ОтветитьCool.!!!!
ОтветитьThe Chinese are intelligent .. that is why they thrive!
ОтветитьDisappointed that the video glosses over the techniques used, preferring to focus on being self congratulatory
ОтветитьForgiveness on its own will not work, people need to be energised into political action.
ОтветитьPeople apparently have a vote why not insist that a resource in an area belong to the people of that area not a governmental organisation.
ОтветитьChina is the best
ОтветитьMind blowing methods
ОтветитьWhatever man but Chinese people are terrible with English 🙂
Ответитьdon't tell me about growing trees as if they were different trees. The issue is they do a monoculture and are creating problems because they don't respect local ecosystems, by planting different species and local species.
ОтветитьHello Richard Aguilar, could you answer the following question? Does China export or open-source these technologies so that other countries that face the problem of desertification can utilize these techniques, amongst which many poor countries (for example Sahel countries). Where can I find more information? Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьCongratulations
ОтветитьI don't know if this would work in the sahara
Would it ?
In part 1 I see a big problem in the reforested areas : lack of biodiversity. There is only one species of tree, some sort of pine. That does not work. Pine plantations are not good forests, they would succumb to a single pest or forest fires. With biodiversity, IE at least 10 species of trees, you'd get a much more robust and productive system. When plants grow together, they help each other. Less pests, less fires, and they grow faster.
In part 2 the big problem is the lack of hedgerows. Hedgerows with trees and bushes anchor the soil, prevent erosion, help with the penetration of water in the soil, creation of humus to keep that water, pest control, protection against wind and sun, etc...
For the watermelon and liquorice, it is the same issue. Monocultures are bad, always try to plant diverse crops and hedgerows.
Overall the biggest problem with the video though is that you failed to mention that Chinese desertification is mainly due to humans : overgrazing, deforestation. So they're only trying to fix their own mistakes, a mistake made everywhere in the world.
Hi, great vid but could you ĺower the music volume, it's distracting and unnecessary.
ОтветитьI'm learning less from this video than I would a written article.
Why are plants in these areas suddenly able to get water, is it one of those deserts that flood 3-4 months of the year or did it just turn to desert due to human activities but still got normal rain?
The presentation was poor as it went so fast you could not read the prompts and showed the same thing over and over in flashes. Slow down and focuses on what you are presenting.
ОтветитьAt a glance there doesn't seem to be much diversity in the tree planting a single species will not encourage wildlife and it will also make the species susceptible to disease
ОтветитьI'm having trouble believing you watermelon grow in bunches not one to a stalk but on the other stuff with the trees and stuff that's pretty cool
ОтветитьI wonder how much of that dirt came from the US ?
ОтветитьBro, help your fellow pinoy to grow more food to help bring down food prices.
Ответитьwow..so obvious
Ответитьrusia can learn from the briliiant chinese
Ответитьwow...so scarry. minds full of mush
ОтветитьGood little prop video
ОтветитьIn china, it’s a mandatory for people to plant at least 1 trees in their life. They either plant it themselves or pay someone to plant it for them
ОтветитьWorld BEST
