In Covid seclusion right now and finishing a 2nd pair of bootie style slippers, going to make these next. I like that I don’t have to follow a pattern and have to constantly count stitches and rows. I’ve been using Forever Fleece Finer by Bernat and I think it will be perfect for these. Thanks for my next project and a new stitch to use.

I'd like to make a pair of these for my niece who's 4 month old, what part/parts of the foot do I need to measure to make the square/rectangle the right size? If that makes sense? What parts of the foot do I measure to custom fit? 😊

I love the idea and intend to make me a pair in the next few days. I'm not going to bother with buttons though, as my slippers will have to withstand very frequent washing. I'm also going to add another layer to the bottom to make thicker soles. I have tiled floors and don't want my feet to get cold when I'm wearing these.

How long would I make the slipper for a toddler age 4?
