I need help finding where to put the jack stands on the car. I'm going to be installing my exhaust soon and there's a dodge stealth guide where to put the jack and jack stands but I think it's different than a 3000gt vr4. The spots it says on the guide look nothing like mine under the car. Help would be much appreciated!

Hey ryan I own at 240sx I just ordered a Isis Straight pipe.
What would you recommend as far as installation should I bolt it up or would welding be a better option??

Taylor, your absolutely right but I also had found a leaky capacitor in the ECU. Cylinders 2&5 eventually went (Engine Code #52). I replaced the ECU {Still using Royal Purple} and now the tick is even less audible... I'm thinking a slight misfire didn't allow the valves to work efficiently and may have caused a louder tick than normal.

Yes, The silencer is in on the video. I removed the silencer and hit an exhaust note of 123.7dB (4th place in a REV contest at the car show).

Your the only one bringing down your business - just keep your rude comments to yourself. Then its all over. Drop the nonsense Joe, your posting on my Channel. I'm not insulting yours... Joe, Thanks for posting but please settle down and read the comments over again. We are discussing DUAL TIPS! We know its a single exhaust from after the down pipe into the cat and then splits again after the catalytic convertor on the turbo models.... Nobody here said anything about DUAL EXHAUST but you. haha You must really love the 300ZX because you keep referring to it. lol

Hey Smartballs.. Ian was asking about Dual Tips on a straight through exhaust. The stock look is duel tips (this custom setup is a single tip) Your right about the Stealth/3000gt having a "Y"-pipe for a down pipe (connected to both exhaust manifolds or the turbo's). It's not a true dual exhaust but the exhaust pipe in our cars split into duel pipes after the catalytic convertor in turbo models (those are also duel tips). I receive a lot of great feedback from people about my single tip exhaust.

This setup works with the OEM single exhaust mounts. Generally speaking anything can be done... The extra (2nd) glasspack would be no use. Shorten a few inches of pipe (install a 'Y'-pipe after one glasspack included), and modify the hangers on your second set to reverse the mounting position to exit your right side.

Get the Straight Shot exhaust setup shown.. Join TunerCar.ca for free and message me there for details. I think it will blow away any competition exhaust if you want straight through air flow with minimal restriction... This is loud. I hit 123.7db on a sound test with this exhaust at 7000 RPM (check my videos).. It gives me extra gas milage on on my Non Turbo setup but it's open enough and turbo ready if you ever get forced induction.

I have a 94 Non Turbo 3.0 i want to go straight pipes with either dual or a single tip. Thoughts? Ideas? Good or bad? Thinking either 2 1/2 or 2 1/4. Inputs are more than welcome. Thanks

Nice vid, man. Buying a white '99 VR-4 in few days. You're low on oil by the way - heard valve tick after you started it, then it went away after the oil got up to the valvetrain.

this is the maximal performance single shot great exhaust, if you want it to be a little louder remove that silencer on the muffler sounds better imo
