In the amazon they do plant based diets called dietas and this is how they learn about the medicine. They say tobacco was the first plant teacher that taught them about other medicinal plants. They will go for long periods of time I believe up to a year eating a certain plant to learn it’s medicine. Strange concept to most people in western society. But how else would they learn this medicine?

There is also two common types of DMT what he refers to is more of a N,N-DMT trip (synthetically made can be vaporized) Ayahuasca also contains N,N-DMT. (Brew)

5-MeO-DMT is another common psychedelic which comes from poison glands of a toad which is then vaporized. (The poison is massaged out and dried.) This experience is less visual (colors, shapes, patterns, etc.) but you get bursted out into a world of white light which feels like becoming one, feeling pure energy, love, and creation. Meeting source. After about 10-20 min you come back to your body. Very spiritual and healing. Please do your research before taking psychedelics. I suffered from depression my entire youth, starting when I was 13 due to plenty of childhood traumas. Then, when I was 20 y.o., I took psilocybin mushrooms and everything changed for me ever since. As a consequence, I started studying psychology in order to find out more about this substance and how it can contribute to a healthy psyche. It’s a shame that it’s still illegal in so many countries….

If jordan was my prof school would actually be interesting. I would take his classes wherever i could, sadly i dont think that will ever be possible at mcmaster :(

The hard truth IMO is that these technologies, (plantmedicines), cannot be understood in a labaratory. And that's why they are so dangerous to our western culture and our dogmas, especially the economy.
If you go to the jungle to apprentice healing, you'll pretty much get 0% theoretical education, and 100% practical directly learning from the plants themselves, as the ppl there have been doing before christ.
And the plants have absolutely 0% interest in adhering and "fitting" Into "the western trip", = material wealth, nihilistic livestyle, ego driven and purely science oriented beliefs.

A lot of people don't want to accept that the human soul is attached to the human body through the brain. Once you sever that connection to the brain by whatever means either through psychedelics or through experiencing extreme traumatic events like I did you'll find yourself in alternate places that don't seem 'real' logically but feel completely real and different.

Either you take a psychedelic to experience this or you go through the extreme trauma like I did and you experience it. Either way it requires your soul to be completely severed from the body temporarily.

Psilocybin saved my life. I was addicted to heroin for 15 years and after Psilocybin treatment I will be 3 years clean in September. I have zero cravings.
This is something that truly needs to be more broadly used in addiction treatment.

I can understand that people have the same "trip" because it's an architype but what I don't understand is why they think that they can and must re-create that vision in a social system on earth.

The smoking industry and alcohol industry are not happy with the positive results and they will use all the lobby possible to ban. Plus the pharmaceutical with they anti depression pills.

you know how If I give you a bunch of squares you can arrange them in a cube, but never a pyramid, only triangles put together would come up with that shape.
now you know how a soccer ball is made of hexagons right? wrong, pentagons are required to be added to make the hexagons be able to create a closed 3D shape; because hexagons can only tile flat sheets. hexagons do not make 3D objects. we have a term for this kind of flatness; it's called 2D. 2D is Hexagon, Atoms most harmoniously stack in hexagons, when creating a hexagon with particles such as atoms, 6 particles create the hexagon outline and a center 7th atom fits in the middle to create 1 filled in hexagon, this makes 2D 7 also.

I bring this up because wild words are used when describing dimensions and psychedelics, when almost and to my deepest sadness, every time the person speaking does not know the shape of the foundation to the 3rd dimension, where we are, I say deeply saddening because these people have children and skip teaching their child logic past 1, since 2 is seen as having no shape and 2D is seen as being a 3D cube making square, or flatland where beings live and perils happen. In particle arrangements, rectangles create curvature in matter, so a square profoundly does not describe anything being flat, any more than a textured wall is flat, it's a concept that fails to mention hexagon; the symbol for flat. The same way a 4D tessaract, can't be seen in 3D a pure, true 2D hexagon also can't be held in 3D

When exploring higher dimensions remember where we come from, this is why bees and rocks base their existence on hexagons, it's the foundation of the 3D; also remember that there was a time where you put words together in order to speak to adults because otherwise, you just experienced your days as a young learning child, where, at least for myself, psychedelic patterns could be seen, and even today, sober, if I focus on my vision and observe with interest it's details, my vision can become tiled with bright rainbow rectangular moiré patterns. these "effects" as simply extremities of our senses, harmonic visuals, where your body is high in voltage, very beautiful, and on the opposite end hypoxic visuals, feelings and hallucinations from low oxygen to the brain, both can be experienced sober. calling both hallucinations is completely brutal and goes against raising each other.

how many of us made it being over 10 years old, or 20! or 30 without knowing the shape of 2D. with the tired old 0 is nothing, so remember that, 1 is a line, so remember that too, and 2 is flatland.
This is an absolute senseless reality to wake up to, and wonder why nobody seems to know the foundation to where we are, I'll never want to know why, I just want to evolve past this disability we share.
