What about being all in but husband is never in at all? What about exhaustion? Neglect? Years n Decades of submission and no response? That's hard. To be in a marriage and for years you already accepted that ur hubs doesn't love OR like you. That's horrible. I live it daily. EVERYTHING is a priority to ny husband BUT me. He's not even approachable. It's horrible. I feel like God doesn't have me here to feel ugly everyday , unwanted, invisible, not important, neglected. DAILY. It never ceases. Idk. Matthew 19:11-12 does NOT say "Not everyone is mature enough to live a married life..." Get the real Bible out and read it...that verse is about Eunuchs...The Message is a HERETICAL version of God's Word...The Message is pure evil!

Get back to using the KJV or even the NASB would be better than The Message...scary you are quoting that and it does not even come close to what the original says!

What Matthew 19:11-12 actually says..."But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it."

Be aware of The Message...it twists God's true word.

As well, we must stop demonizing single persons. I don't feel like I missed out. I was assaulted by my youth pastor at 16. After that I didn't want to get married. I still love and serve God. Why all this mindless pressure to be married 24/7 ad nauseum.

And what about those women fleeing domestic violence and the out of control hi speed internet p@rn addiction that is damaging men's brains? And causing massive PIED (p@rn induced erectile dysfunction) in millions of Christian marriages?

What about the wives who long for seggsual connection with their Christian husband, while he locks himself in the spare room masturb@ting to underage bandage gang rape of trafficked children? Yes, this is happening. Everywhere. Wake up Lisa. Wake up church.
