We haven't been to the theatre to see a movie since 2020, but we have the same set-up. We are staying inside today (except when we go look after the animals) hiding from the -40°C cold snap. Hopefully only one more day of this before it warms up again. 🤞🥶

Very similar to our Movie Theaters that are in Shopping Malls here in Canada.... Wow, only $2, I bet alot comments will be surprised as well

About an hour and 15 minutes from where I live there is a drive in movie cinema where you watch the movie in your car with a special speaker. . Do you have those in Russia? There are not very many in the USA left. I find it nostalgic and fun! Have you ever been?

Looks like a nice day for the movies. We also have senior day at the movies on Wednesdays. And they get cheaper tickets on those days.

I haven't been to the cinema for year's, they have an afternoon showing on a Wednesday for older people. It was £3, and you got coffee and biscuits, l don't know if the price has gone up. The toilets in our shopping centre costs 20p Year's ago in England we used to have women called Usherettes, they would take you to your seat with a torch. In the interval they would come round with a tray with ice cream and drinks.

I haven't been to the movies in 20 years

Just like in the US, the concession stand just outside the movie theater has the most ridiculous prices for drinks and chips and ice cream. We always try to get as little as possible from there. The tickets are expensive enough. Our tickets here are usually USD 12-15 und, and anything at the concession stand is about USD 8 - 15. The most popular item there is butter popcorn. Prices vary depending on where in the US you are, and also, there are a few movie theaters that show older films, and those are cheaper, but there are not many of those places left.

Thanks for the video, live in Oklahoma, USA. Everything looks very nice, very clean, lovely. It all seems to be like ours over here, but seems our sure cost more. Do not go much anymore because don't care for the movies they are making now. At home we watch many olds movies from the 1940s and 1950s, and yes, we are in our 70s.😊

Your Cinema’s are setup the same as in the US. The prices are higher and also with the popcorn. Where we live the Cinema’s are usually stand alone instead of inside malls.

Cheaper tickets for the elderly for various things here are called concessions. But fewer places offer them in the UK anymore now!

Our local library shows a free movie/cinema once a month. Mostly seniors attend. We can't bring any treats to eat though.

I haven’t been to a movie theater, I can’t even remember when. Here it is quite expensive. I stream Netflix and that is enough movies for me. ❤

I wonder if the American film "The Russians Are Coming" is shown in Russia. It is a comedy, and some of the Americans and some of the Russians are depicted as jerks.

Well, the Russian film industry is well known here in The USA, if you studied cinematograpy like I did at university. I like foreign films and hope you'll be able to see some other movies soon.

It's always entertaining to watch your videos. I used to go to the movies because my lady friend will ask me to go with her. Some movies I enjoyed, others not. I never even watch television. I only watch movies I bought. I don't have patience but I have patience while scrolling through thousands of photos to find a wedding or birth certificate! 🤣 I'm mostly done. I think if I must go through your -5 degrees, one will hear my body crack to get the bones in position! 😂

Recently here several local cinemas have closed, we will miss them now that they are gone probably.
