I Think This Is Peak High Speed Platforming...

I feel like if Sega tried to collaborate with Sony against Nintendo this is the type of game that would have come out.
Instead of that, they went in completly blind on how to make a 3d game and the following 8 years or so were experiment after experiment.
I mean, it would have been beneficial for both Sega and Sony.
Sony would gain the literal enemy of Nintendo as a franchise to use and Sega wouldn't be completly lost when trying to make a 3d game.

Oh, he remade Megaraph fleet from the OG game? that's my favorite stage and music in the series.
the second game left such a bad taste in my mouth that i didn't even look how spark 3 was, might give it a chance.

it's sad to see how Sonic fans understand true Sonic gameplay much better than Sonic Team themselves, this is what the next step a Sonic game should've been after Sonic Adventure 2 and everything that came after, there may be boost gameplay enjoyers over there but Sonic games overrelay on that gimmick that should've only been just a tool into the whole gameplay as shown here

This makes me sad after playing sonic frontiers. Like this is how sonic levels should be and I think the reason I don't ever really like the stages in Sonic is cause you can't see where your going a lot of time. Sonic needs to go this speed and not be a side scroller I wanna zoom and see where Im zooming to.

Glad this video is getting over 2 million views, Spark 3 deserves it. I beat Spark 2 a few years ago, and it's everything a 3D Sonic game should have been. We're getting/have gotten several other high speed platformers too including Penny's Big Breakaway, made by the guys who made Sonic Mania. Can't wait to see more!

One thing that I find annoying is how many people use Spark 3 as ammunition to say that Sonic is shit.

I wouldn't doubt that there are sonic fans who didn't give Spark a chance because of this.

Not to mention that I don't know how LakeFeperd feels seeing that much of the praise for his game comes along with hate for his inspiration.

And I agree that Spark 3 is better than Sonic, I just don't think it's cool to treat Spark as just "Sonic, but it's not bad".

Man, this is like, peak level design. The runways that only appear when you're close would be annoying.... were it not for the always-visible floating rings that give you an idea on where to land when you're soaring over them.
