I scoured some well-known surplus websites, auction websites and beyond to find out where the surplus beginner can start. The following guns are available for 500 dollars or less.
Ответить“Made in China”
ОтветитьWow. I paid $60 for a Finnish M-39 with Sako barred. $90 for a Brirish No4 Mk1/2 reworked at Frazakerly in 1955 and $99.99 for a Russian arsenal reconditioned M91/30. But that was a few years ago. Also have a few rounds of Greek .303 (reloadable) ammo I bought cheap in the 1980's and two spam cans (440 rounds) of Czech 7.62 x 54R I stashed away. I guess my tip is start 40 years ago.
ОтветитьI do. Got sks for 60 bucks. 1000 rds 60 bucks! I miss those days. Lets at least get back to that.
ОтветитьThe SKS is popular right now because PUBG is popular right now. Stealing players from COD and Apex. It's Zoomers buying them I'll bet.
ОтветитьIf only they were under 500 where I live...
ОтветитьMODERN GUNS CAN COST AS MUCH IF NOT A LITTLE MORE, AND THEY ARE NEW AND THE BULLETS ARE CHEAPER. THEY MAY BE A BETTER DEAL THAN OLD WORN -OUT GUNS!!!!!
ОтветитьPaid $69.99 for my first Mosin 91/30. Screwed up when I sold my Russian Laminated stock SKS for $300 back in the mid 2000's.
ОтветитьCavalry: mounted troops. Calvery: Biblical reference..
ОтветитьThere are still some countries in the world that have never seen what a rifle looks like..
Ответитьwe should stop buying surply rifles and, you will see that prices wil go down
ОтветитьI remember buying new in the grease Long Branch made Lee Enfields back in the mid 70’s for $25.00 Canadian, $30.00 if they were cleaned up.
Passed on some crates of 10 rifles for $200.00 because I thought I would have them forever. Huge mistake.
Does anyone remember $9.00 Enfields? Or $39 M-1 carbines?
Ответить$600 now
ОтветитьLook for guys over 40 that have been collecting.they have Jems of worn rifles that they will sell reasonable if they are decent people.
ОтветитьDon't know where this is but I haven't seen prices like this since 1989. Who the hell are they trying to fool? And that was for mostly junk.
ОтветитьMy tip is don’t until the market dies enough to return to earth. These are heavily used and near worthless to the governments who damn near have them away to make room for useful guns in their arsenals. They should always be priced like so.
Ответить$500 isn’t cheap. Is what it is. China also copied German rifles but we can’t have them for some reason
ОтветитьI have a feeling those K-31's are gone.
ОтветитьJunk is junk.
ОтветитьCav-al-ry not Calvary. Cavalry is mounted troops, Calvary is where Jesus was crucified.
ОтветитьDoes anyone have a Curio & Relics license? If so, what is the paperwork process when you’ve bought a C&R firearm at a gun show or gun shop?
🤔
Did the host say “CAL vary?” Everybody mispronounces this word. It’s pronounced “CAV alry.”
Ответитьok i see your title that says MILSURP really? Have we become so lazy these days we cant even say full words anymore? REALLY? everything is so abbreviated anymore one needs a abbreviation dictionary so we know what they mean. now we are combining words? wow......lazy. Must be the generation of lazy that makes this system. All the computers and technology we have and we are still abbreviating. Are you being charged by the letter or something? shakes my head .
ОтветитьThe garbage rod mosin.
Junk when it was $75.
Still junk today.
FUN FACT: Actually, it is pronounced , "COW-VA-REE"...In the civil war, both sides had a massive shortage of fresh horses, so they took to riding cows. Hence: Cowvary.
ОтветитьYou might mention that even though it's only a 9mm that little Polish P64 will bite like hell when you shoot it It will feel like a 44 mag in a short barrel revolver
ОтветитьEven during at the time this video was produced and uploaded the only SKS under $500.00 is and was a very used Norinco
ОтветитьI miss the 90's, cheap surplus rifles, and ammo. all the rifles had matching numbers, not frankenstin monsters.
ОтветитьThe Enfield No. 1 MK III is not called "M K" 3. It is pronounced Mark 3
ОтветитьThe Mosin-Nagant is pronounced moSEEN NahGAHN
ОтветитьYou're mispronouncing Cavalry. You are saying Calvary rather than Cavalry.
ОтветитьI remember in the mid 80s roses had shelves filled with ww1 and ww2 rifles for $25 to $75.
ОтветитьI remember $60 sks, and $90 mosins.
ОтветитьI'm so glad I got my surplus rifles back when I did. I paid $55 for my first M44 Mosin which was a little worn. $92 for my second M44 that is almost new. And $220 for my Chinese SKS. Its ridiculous what people are asking for surplus rifles.
ОтветитьCavalry not calvary. Jesus had nothing to do with them.
ОтветитьI would not pay $500 for a Nagant. Nuts!
ОтветитьI got the type 53 for 111 hand select. 356 is too much.....
ОтветитьGood video except for spreading the Kennedy misinformation/propaganda myth. Makes me question everything you state about these rifles because of your lack of critical thinking.
ОтветитьUnless I'm not looking hard enough, I can't find ANY cheap K31s. All up for sale for 700+. What a nice rifle to have, should have bought one years ago.
ОтветитьTell me where you can get a K31 for under 400 dollars
ОтветитьCalvary is where Christ was crucified....cavalry is the word you wanted
ОтветитьI might be mistaken but I thought the Carcano type 91 shown is a cavalry version, not "calvary".
ОтветитьTell me where to find cheap ammo for my K-31. Please!
ОтветитьI looked up all the firearms mentioned in this video that was posted 2 months ago...all guns are over 500 plus dollars. And that turkish m38...i saw from 1k to 27k...
ОтветитьHave lots of money these days....surplus guns have priced me out of the market....just as well purchase new..
Ответить7.5 Swiss is affordable? Shit's a buck twenty a round. lol
ОтветитьMy take on surplus is if I can buy a modern rifle in a readily available caliber cheaper than the surplus. Then the surplus is to expensive.
ОтветитьHate to be nit-picky, but "calvary" is the place where Jesus was crucified. "Cavalry" means means "horse mounted troops". Wikipedia: "From the French word cavalerie, itself derived from "cheval" meaning "horse".
