My questions are 1) What build are you using? It appears to be a spell sword build with melee and magic. Are you willing to share your stats and equipment? 2) As for invasions, is there an invasion range like other souls games? Can players still twink (run through the game) and harass low-level players, or did they do away with that?

I'm still confused about a few things.

1. So the difference between duelist and invader is that you can invite the duelist if you want, but the invader can come in as they wish (provided you have a co-operator)?
2. Isn't using the small effigy basically the same as drawing a golden sign? I mean... so your sign will only be visible at one martyr effigy, but if you use the finger, it will be visible where you put it and also at a martyr effigy? But I also read that activating the effigies makes them collect your sign always, so you'll be visible at every pool you've activated. Does this change between small effigy and finger?
3. What exactly is the difference between multiplayer password and group password? And like if I'm looking for help on reddit or whatever, which one am I supposed to set? If I use a multiplayer password and someone uses the same, but as group password, will they still match up?

Honestly wish you could just co-op with a friend. Its so clunky to get going and sick of not progressing or being limited on what i can do when joining another game. Kinda ruining it for me

Arena is fun but when you enter as a good ol mele dude and you meet the uber mage katana/oneshot2h booster range spammer you pretty much creamed haha.

Can you play elden ring multiplayer with NAT type 3?? I thought it was bc I gameshared the game, 60$ later I still can’t invade or be invaded

Why do they even bother to put a multiplayer system ? It's like they tried really hard to find the sweet spot that pisses off both parties. Single players get invaded which breaks their gameplay, and PvPers or Coop players just get a wattered down version of what multiplayer could be (we are inn 2023). It's a shame really that it happened this way.

I wish you could pick a player to invade, instead, just wait for 30mins to an hour for it to que up, or not at all. PVP is not working often or well in console.

if I get it right you can basically summon players in your world just like in nioh, you get the ochoko bowls and when you "offer them" they get consumed and the player joins you, am I right?

If this had co op like Destiny or Helldivers, I would join it. But the way it is now, no. I guess that could be said about all Destiny players lol so maybe this is good for Elden Ring community as Destiny players can be very toxic.

Doesn't there also have to be a certain gap between the levels of yourself and another player, in order to summon said player?
