You can tell Corey researches all this stuff before he buys it no way he knows this much about baseball.

The seller is a bit pigheaded. On another episode he brought in a Babe Ruth photo, and that was also appraised at $10k. They also offered him $7k for that item too. In both cases, he asked for significantly more than the appraised value even after the appraisal was made.

He’s probably shocked that no deal was made in either case…

Mickey Mantle did NOT have 3 Triple Crowns Corey

Guy gets a free appraisal. Finds out someone trimmed part of the card off, thus making it below a "poor" condition rating of a 1. Thankfully for him, finds out it's still worth right around $10K. Gets offered $7K. Instead of haggling a bit at $8K.... asks for several thousands of dollars more than what the card is worth! I am so fed up with these absolutely delusional sellers!

I am a New York Yankees fan I like to here about Mickey Mantle and Babe Ruth as well. They were and still are and was great baseball players.

10k is a joke evaluation. A similar card graded authentic with an 8 auto grade sold for 50k. And the customer had a 9 grade on the auto so it's worth more than 50k. Not cool to try and screw the customer!

Why do the sellers expect to get more than the appraisal? 🤦‍♂️ Corey offered 70% of the appraisal which was more than fair.

For comparison, they bought a babe Ruth autograph for $1100 and a James Madison autograph for $1200

It’s already been graded by psa, it’s says “altered.” His “expert” was not needed in this situation.
