A lot of people forgot that he was also Mr Nezzer from Veggie tales.

It really speaks to Ken Page's talent that Oogie is such a popular villain despite having about 10 minutes of screen time and isn't directly relevant to the plot. After this, the character was used for everything from theme park shows and video games, all with Ken Page reprising. Should Oogie ever be recast for future uses of the character, the new guy will have some big shoes to fill. RIP.
