I dont get how economic experts can possibly believe that you can escape a tightening cycle and the correlary unrealized losses on bonds. They think you can just wait it out until rates come down. But if rates come down, that means the economy is in trouble and you have to sell anyway. And if rates stay high, sure the economy is okay, but now you have these poor performing assets on your book for longer and longer. It seems like elementary school maths.

I would love to see this guy to a rorschach test.

Recession! Crash! Inflation! It’s getting depressing. I have about $100k in emergency fund and I have been seeing good news about the stock market and would like to gain from that since I can’t let my savings be corroded by inflation. What stocks should I into as a newbie to safely grow my money.
