Which one do they use on the senior tour ? 😊
ОтветитьI have been using hybrids since the early 2000's when Orlimar irs hybrids came out to replace irons. As the fairway woods head size increased I replaced my fairway woods with lower lofted hybrids. I like shorter shafts and smaller head size, I may give up some distance but rather keep a uniform transition throughout my bag setup.
ОтветитьFor rough just off the fairway. Wood or hybrid?
ОтветитьThanks for the explanation. I believe one of the challenges in adding the 7w and 9w is gapping. With hybrids you can find 2h- PWh. Do you try and guess or demo hybrids to fit between a 5w and 7w or 7w and 9w? I’m also curious on your thoughts on what’s easier to hit out of the rough, hybrid or fairway wood? Thanks again for your concise explanations on your videos.
ОтветитьI just started to get into golf with the endless videos I’ve seen I settled on getting Elyte 7w 5w 3h 4h and driver not sure if it was the right call or not but we will see when I play my first actual round of golf
ОтветитьIt's a personal thing, but for some reason I just can't get on with the look of hybrids, whereas the woods I do. I've got a seven wood, which is my go to confidence club when I'm having a bad round. So easy to use!
Ответитьi play 9 wood, 185 yrd club and 4 hybrid 175 yrd club. 4h is regular flex to encourage me to swing smooth. its a 5 iron replacement for me.
ОтветитьI had a 7 wood in my bag very early in my playing life. Played it for years and it was a great alternative to longer irons, that I struggled to hit well. In my older years, I've adopted 4-7 hybrids and love their versatility in the fairway and the rough.
