This has been helpful in my decision-making. I was leaning toward Empower, but now i need to check out Monarch. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьWhat do you use
ОтветитьWhat about Simplifi?
Ответитьdoes any one have a trends section like mint customizable to any the date for all spending, tags net worth income who ever gets there first gets my money
ОтветитьThe point of mint was that it was automated.
ОтветитьYNAB is still the best budgeting app out there.
ОтветитьSwitched from Mint to [Quicken on Mac] which is faster, more accurate, with more useful features. Worth it.
ОтветитьDoes Monarch or Tiller (or any other) have functionality for sinking funds where unused budget money rolls over to next month?
ОтветитьMost bank accounts and credit cards come with some type of budgeting software in it. Are these apps really necessary?
ОтветитьThe idea of paying for a budget app is kinda counterintuitive in my opinion, I get they have to make money too but spending 100.00 a year to use it. Just my opinion
ОтветитьIf Empower did not force me to agree to receive "marketing" calls to my phone I would use them. But, that is a non-starter for me. And, migrating to CK from Mint, you MUST have a cell phone. I neither want, nor do I need a cell phone (I know gasp right?) So an app that wants to help me save money makes me buy something I neither want, nor need? Shove it up your app Intuit!
ОтветитьWe having been using Mint for over 10 years and I am extremely disappointed that it is about to go. We were able to calculate our net worth instantly by simply bring up Mint. I had not heard of Monarch until now and we will definitely take a look. Thanks for sharing this video.
ОтветитьThat Monarch uses Plaid is a disappointment. Plaid doesn't work at all with Fidelity.
ОтветитьQuicken has an app like mint tied to their subscription software.
ОтветитьSo empower is the only free one AND its only available in the US for any Canadian people looking to switch.
ОтветитьI'm looking for a smartphone app that I can check bank and portfolio transactions, and net worth that includes property, all on one page. I don't want a budget, saving goals, spending alerts, categories, credit score or any other 'helpful' tools thank you. Mint was perfect for this. Any ideas for a low cost alternative?
ОтветитьWhich ones allow you to transfer your Mint data history into the app or desktop version?
ОтветитьI'm sad about Prism shut down. I think they used Mint for payment processing. But I didn't use that, I just logged in on payday, looked at what was due... went n paid those bills and marked them as paid. done. 9 years.... never all the linking ect. but I got reminders.
ОтветитьAny of these work for Canadian banks? Mint was the only one that covered majority of Canadian banks for the account sync feature. Tiller I’ve used in the past but it’s not user friendly at all.
Ответить- Most are not free alternatives
- Connecting all your accounts is not trivial. Mint has done tremendous effort to support as many as possible even for those unusual financial institutions.
Do any of these have good reports?
ОтветитьRlp😢😢a
Ответитьdid not watch lol but mint did not close down they just transferred their platform to credit karma. everything is still accessible through credit karma for anyone that did not know
ОтветитьHow do you feel about quicken simplifi?
ОтветитьWell fuck that
ОтветитьCanada?
ОтветитьHas anybody heard of Fina?
ОтветитьSorry but trying hard to replace mint and claiming to be the best alternative while having fewer features and 100$ more? Thats asinine.
ОтветитьThanks for the overview.
I'm just wondering why the budget app "Banktivity" is not in the TOP 5 of budgeting apps. It actually does all the other apps are doing as well and even more. Because YNAB is missing the transactional logging when you move money from one category to another and it is better in pays/schedules and rules then YNAB.
Monarch money doesn't allow to enter "cents" in the budget feature. All amount are rounded and European users cannot use the euro sign.
Banktivity is even cheaper than others.
For sure Banktivity is missing the nice and sexy/modern look and feel like YNAB or any other web budget app. They are also missing the marketing part, like funny and tempting video tutorials.
Looking for Mint alternative. Thank you for these tips!
ОтветитьGreat Video!
Ответитьactually a good synopsis! Thank you!
ОтветитьSwapping to Credit Karma suuuuuucks. I like all the charts and interface better at Mint.
ОтветитьSuper helpful breakdown!
Ответитьfly
ОтветитьWhich do you recommend?
My metrics:
Use on a PC. I hate the tunnel vision of a cell phone.
Is not web based, needs to be independent of internet.
Does not link accounts, easier to check and balance when manually enter.
Don’t want to rent software. I want a onetime purchase and done.
Best one is Cashew. It's just amazing.
ОтветитьHow about Quicken Simplifi - $2.99/month
