Great video it would be magical to see a sub-20
ОтветитьI missed the whiteboard, feels like ages since we last saw it.
Ответить1984 Olympic women's freestyle was actually tied between Nancy Lynn Hogshead and Carolyn Steinseifer who both took gold with the same time 55.92 ..However the men's 100m free was won by Rowdy Gaines in 49.8 which was the new Olympic Record but he broke the World Record 3 years earlier in 1981 with 49.36.
I found this stuff on wikipedia check it out lots of info there.
Great video, really appreciate your insights Fares
Can a similar analysis be done by dividing the pool into 3 phases only? And what would the prediction be?
ОтветитьA simple question : what IS the main factors on reaction time that explains the incredible gap with track Time (0.15s)
ОтветитьHi Fares I love your videos as they are incredibly interesting and informative. Please could you perhaps do a video on Ben Proud and his 50 free technique? Thanks.
ОтветитьIn my opinion, no human being can swim under 20 seconds
ОтветитьCan you make a video on the ideal physique for different strokes and distances? I thought it was interesting seeing much heavier and more built swimmers sharing the same podium as those with lankier and lighter physiques.
ОтветитьPan zhang le might do it but we just have to Wait and see
ОтветитьHello from Greece my friend! Perfect video! I hope we will see soon 50m freestyle under 20.00 seconds ❤❤❤! Keep walking with your videos
ОтветитьI think for a swimmer how can or might beat 19.95 is Summer McIntosh. She got speed. She got powerful pull and kicking. I know for 80 percent sure that Summer McIntosh might beat 19.95
ОтветитьCaeleb's weakest event is 100m free but it doesn't matter anymore because he probably past his prime😢
ОтветитьIt seems to me the easiest way to break the record is to gamble on the start. If you can start half a second faster than you are bound to win. Yes you may be disqualified but sooner or later you will break the WR.
Ответитьmy goal is to go 24 low at 48 years old...I have the paid app and just getting back into shape. So far my best time 1 year ago was 26.00. in the water 5 days a week.. currently only doing 2000-2500m plan to get up to 3000-3300 plus weight training. Curious if you have a taper app or is it needed and what training i should use from the app 2 months before the meet. Working hard on my catch and kick...
ОтветитьYou know who i think is gonna break that record? ME 😂
ОтветитьAny feedback on the training regime of the 50m Freestyle Gold Medallist at Paris - 30 year old Cam McEvoy? He seemed to spend more time exercising out of the pool rather than swimming laps. Maybe new training techniques can also help future swimmers break the 20 second threshold?
ОтветитьTheoretically if Caleb Dressel was even more muscular, would that help him swim faster?
ОтветитьVery interesting. When I swam in high school, state winner in the 50 yard short pool swim was a 21.19. Just amazing how fast these swimmers are.
ОтветитьMy best reaction time is 0.34
Ответитьnow this is what im looking for!
ОтветитьDressel performance at Paris was a major disappointment. He didn't even qualify in his bread and butter events, the 100 free and 100 butterfly. He got smoked in the 50 free too, so he medaled in a medley event, with the help from some young studs.
ОтветитьHey, the Chinese bots aren't spamming 'purple face' everywhere this video!
Missed the whiteboard so much Fares, love these types of videos from you!
you should make a video on summer McIntosh
Ответитьor a video on ragen smith that would also be cool
ОтветитьHoping to break 20 seconds after watching this video. Currently get 25m in 19 seconds.
ОтветитьNice 👍
ОтветитьAmazing video! Please make another one on the 50m Butterfly 🦋
Ответитьi was lucky to meet you at hamdan swimming complex in my last competition... i didnt do rlly well that competition... i added my time in all events and im pretty upset bout it.. i will try my best to get a better timing in my next competition in 2 weeks
ОтветитьNo hate but this guy acts like it’s doable right now, don’t get me wrong it is possible but he’s telling us that it’s strategy and simple to do by just telling us attributes that swimmers are already implementing in their swim
Ответить
