OSE is actually a 3rd edition from the writer. In an attempt to publish their Old School Renaissance Game. Before this their was a published BX from the writer and Blog Post.

Thank you again for your insights to B/X. As far as us who are begginer DMs what's the most important thing I shoukd work on,using the B//X rules?

I like this format, I think it would work great for exactly what you said. Shorter simpler streams when longer ones don't work.

Some rules are written to favor the PCs on purpose. Running away needs to be a viable option. Even if the mechanic is not entirely realistic.

The world of the vertical people seems strange to us landscape folk. The featureless white void on each side of the image/video. But at least the audio is decent.
