We present a video of "bar chart race" with the 20 largest honey producers in the world from 1961 to 2019, leading countries in beekeeping.

Honey is a food, usually found in a viscous and sugary liquid state, which is produced by bees from nectar collected from flowers and processed by the digestive enzymes of these insects, being stored in combs in their hives for serve them as food.

Honey has always been used as food by man, obtained initially in an extractive way and, often, in a way that is harmful to hives. Over the centuries, man has learned to capture swarms and install them in "artificial hives". Through the development and improvement of management techniques, he was able to increase honey production and extract it without damaging the hive. With the "domestication" of bees for the production of honey, then we have the beginning of beekeeping.
