Nice review!
ОтветитьImo, Stringjoy Foxwoods or XT D’Addario best on the market.
ОтветитьIt’s pronounced “Varytoss” with the accent on the third syllable.
ОтветитьElixir is the best compared to their coated counterparts trust me Elixir is the only String brand that last a year stay fresher than other
ОтветитьYeah where same elixir is my no.1 and veritas 2nd choice and my third is dr dragon skin! I most likely like the veritas compared to dragon skin because for me veritas has more Openness unlike dragon skin it restrict some overtones!!!But elixir is the best among Brands for me
ОтветитьHow the hell are your guitar strings going dead after 15 min?!?! LMFAO
ОтветитьRediculous. Judging after 15 minutes? Give me a break.
ОтветитьThat guitar sounds amazing!
ОтветитьThey have a better tone then elixers which sound plastic like in my opinion
ОтветитьYou would do well to speak with confidence so your claims can be taken as trustworthy. You look and sound like someone is forcing you to do this at gunpoint and you also speak with a hint of a bitter attitude when describing flaws and issues like Scott Grove does.
ОтветитьWell. I have 3 Yamaha guitars and I didn't like the sound on them. Because, they were too bright and twengy. I tried different strings including Martin Retro and Elixirs. But, the best strings I found worked well on the Yamaha guitars were the Zager strings. They are not loud. But, warmer rich tone. So those went really well on the Yamaha. I didn't like the Zager strings on my D 16. The Martin Retro were much better on that guitar. I have used Aluminum Bronze by Ernie Ball on a really cheap Rougue guitar and those were the ones I liked for that guitar. Also I don't like the Zager strings on the Taylor GS mini Koa. The Retro strings are much better for that one. But I think the Elixirs would be good.
I am no musician nor a good player. I don't have that ear to hear a big difference after a few minutes of playing. But, I know strings can make a big difference. It's like you have to know your guitar really well. Then, go with brighter, louder, darker, lighter, deeper etc, etc type of strings to get you the desired sound you are looking for.
VARE-ih-tahs, not Vrr-EE-tuhz. It's Latin for the word "truth." Just trying to help, not trying to be a jerk. But I promise VARE-ih-tahs is correct. Look it up if you like.
ОтветитьWhat gauge did you use for the demo? Custom Light?
ОтветитьThe New Martin Life Spans
