Puma Deviate Nitro 3

First of all, amazing review as usual man. Hopefully you can help me with this, I own a pair of Hoka Mach 6 and also a pair of Hoka Mach X. Having the Puma Deviate Nitro 3 for speed and quality could be redundant?🤔

Thank you for the PDN3 review 👍 the older version(2) has been my fav shoe for long runs and I guess I will stick to it. Eventhough the new one is slightly lighter. But any reason why they thought of increasing the stack size?

3 width is a little bit more narrow than 2? knit upper will be more
strech than 2?

Deviate Nitro 2, Nitro Elite 2 and 3 are almost the same price at 120/130€ in my country. Which one would u go for as a speedy daily trainer / half marathon racer?

Deviate Nitro 3 or Boston 12 ?

currently got an ES3 and Hoka Mach 6 in this range, tried out the peg plus as it's an old fave, and definitely found I liked the nitro 3 more, keen to get a pair when my mach 6 is dead for those threshold/tempo runs.

Just bought this for my wife: we got a miss on this one. Tongue dug in so much on the run that she ended up with a bit of a limp. So it hasn't worked for us so far! Had high hopes too. Ah well, different strokes for different folks in this case I guess. Too bad bc the looks are 🔥.

New runner here, I went iff the deep end and bought the super blast two, but I’ll be honest I’ve decided to grind out a 12 week aerobic base building block. I’m not even sure really the difference in shoes as of yet because I’m so I just bought the best thing I seen but after searching more this shoe seems to be a better daily trainer for easy miles so I’m thinking of getting them. Any thoughts

Awesome review. Im planning to either get the deviate nitro 3 or the magic speed for intervalls (400/1000m) and short tempo runs. Which one do you think fits better? Since they are both kinda in the same category, i think both would fit either way.

I have the Nitros 2’s, wore them out and ordered the 3’s. Didn’t like how the new drop felt, returned 2 days later and ordered another new set of deviate 2s on eBay since sold out everywhere.

hello ! I use the puma magmax for my long run and I absolutely love it..I look for a daily trainer to pick up the pace and the velocity is too narrow for me...do you think the DVN3 is a good option? thanks for your response

- If Deviate nitro 2 is 20$ cheaper (nitro 2 is 100 & nitro 3 is 120), which one is a better deal?

I ordered one, and I’m excited to use it for the 21K race.

I bought buy 1 free 1, so i took deviate 3 n Foreverun

I have been using it for a week. I speedwalk/run 20000 steps everyday and also workout. On weekends my steps goes between 30000 to 40000. As someone with very wide foot and very wide toebox I will very much recommend this to the giant foot gang. I would recommend buying 1/2 size bigger for more extra space but it's not necessary. The one I bought is my exact shoe size and faced no issue.

I don't know if it will be good for people with flat foot.

Would you think Puma Deviate Nitro 3 for a marathon sub 2.50? How about older version Deviate Nitro 2? I mean these regular versions, not elite.

Kofuzi is you were to do a long 18 plus mile run at 1/2 marathon pace which shoe would you choose

How close is it to Novablast 5 ? Looking for a compliment to the Novablast for tempo

Hello Kofuzi. Thank you for the review. I have a question regarding this shoe. I know there are a lot of positive reviews on it but for me, it just doesn't seem to work at all. Whenever I run in this shoe, I'm getting pain in the outer part of my soles, so the lateral part after about 1-1.5 km. Then my whole sole starts hurting and I need to slow down and stop running. I have about 40 kms in my Deviate Nitro 3s. I had initially thought I just needed to break them in but the arch pain hasn't gone away. Also, I had to same issue with the DN2s, so much so, that on multiple occasions I had to walk home.
In contrast, I have never had such an issue in any other brand of running shoes.
What could be the cause in your opinion? I really wanted to love this shoe but these Pumas don't seem to agree with my feet.

I am confused between dn3 or magic speed4 for which speed should I choose? maybe you can help me?
